CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

Escape completely at SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. Get lost in the sun, the beach, the waves, and do it all right here on property! Swing by the gift shop for cool drinks, snacks, beach attire and supplies before heading out to the newly renovated outdoor pool. Lounge surfside with a beach chair/umbrella rental (fee) then chill at the outdoor tiki bar (seasonal). Soothe your body and mind in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room, and rejuvenate with a dip in the indoor pool (heated seasonally). Get a workout in at the fitness facility and grab complimentary DVD rentals to enjoy later in the afternoon. Additionally, SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it ideal for large personal or professional events. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.

AMAZING views from this top floor unit!

SunDestin Unit 1803 is a gorgeous one bedroom, one- and one-half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. Tastefully decorated and filled with natural elements, you’ll find yourself relaxing immediately upon entrance. Take in the expansive view from the open concept living/dining area where no seat is a bad one! Lounge on the sofa, at the breakfast bar, or on the balcony, directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico where you can watch the dolphins play. Concoct tropical drinks and tasty hors devours in the spacious, fully appointed kitchen. When it’s time to retire, recline on the queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room while drifting off to a movie on the flat-screen TV. If you prefer some privacy, opt for the master suite with a king-sized bed, flat screen television, and en suite bathroom for added convenience.

Stroll along the beach collecting seashells or venture off-property, rent a watercraft, and spend the day at Crab Island. Swim, snorkel or float about on a raft, immersing yourself in the emerald waters of Destin!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Beautiful Condo!!!

Beautiful updated condo with the most magnificent view of the beach. Love the extra ½ bath. The only thing I would change is the bedroom at the front, but we had a wonderful stay!!

Probably the best view in destin

We came for a week stay and the the room was clean and well stocked with every thing u could possibly need. The view from the room was FANTASTIC. The only thing i would tell people is to call the chair service a week or two in advance to get the best seating spots. Other than that our stay was perfect.

Great stay! Location is great.

Loved this place. Would def book again. It was me, my husband, and our 6 month old baby. It was great for us. RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Loved that bc having to pack lots for the baby up and down. Great pools (indoor and outdoor). Beautiful stay. Very clean.

We have been staying at Sundestin for years now and this condo had the best view. The only thing for us would be the mattress. Definitely needs to be changed out. Other than that the place was really clean.

Loved it! Feels like a second home to to us!

We have been coming here for years and love it. Love how chill and quiet it usually is. It always feels like a second home to us. My room was so, so clean. The folks who clean do an awesome job! I disliked the check-in process this time around though. I wanted to get my key and parking pass and the clerk started trying to sell me on vacation plans and a whole itinerary. It held up the line and I felt bad having people behind me waiting and I too was frustrated waiting for 20 or so minutes while someone in front of me went over a whole vacation plan. Aside from this, I really enjoyed it. Only 3 elevators worked but it wasn't that big of an issue. Love the location and how close it is to so many things. I will continue coming to this wonderful place. Love it!

Everything was great! The remodel going on wasn’t that much of an issue (pool still closed at time, equipment took up parking, blocked entrance to resort so we had to circle around to pull up to unload/load). Overall would stay here again.

AMAZING!

The staff was great, the restaurant had great food and drinks! The shop had everything we needed for our stay! The condo was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and slept great. What I loved most was the view of the ocean and beach. We saw dolphins almost every morning of our stay!

Awesome condo

Really enjoyed our say.. The only thing I wish I had known before hand. Was that outdoor pool was closed for construction.. And that during the day alot of construction noises like hammer drills and beating was going to be going on during the day. Other than that everything was great.

Beautiful, clean, guest service impeccable

I always stay at Sundestin when we vacation in Destin. 1803 was perfect, beautiful view, clean, everything in great working order. The guest service was impeccable. They were so nice and help me print things I needed printed when I had to do some last minute work, no questions asked. Someone was smoking Marijuana on the balcony below us and we called the front desk and they dealt with it immediately and never had to smell it again. Place is very clean and well taken care of. Will return here again and again.

Was very disappointed that the outdoor pool wasn’t open. No one told me that when I made reservations. Room was clean , but had issues with the TV going off white watching a show . Other than those two issues the stay was pleasant

Very good overall. But!

Our stay wad good overall, but a little disappointing the parking problem for two consecutive nights we could not find any parking space, we went to have dinner with our kids and when we came back there was no parking space for us, the front desk fail to explain to us this was an ongoing issue, they simply told us to park across the street at an abandoned fast food restaurant and then to come back walking with our young children across a very busy street (5-10mins walk) we ended up having to uber if we wanted to have dinner and stay a little late (9:30-10pm) finding fun things for oir kids to enjoy around the harbor walk. Understand the place is under renovation, but we knew that, our mindset about that was different because we were informed beforehand. The parking issue was a bummer

Bedroom ceiling light didn't work. Hardly any blankets. Black Mold in shower titles. Over crowded. Washer and dryer were never available as you have to share with the whole floor.

Mattress and check out

We enjoyed our staying at this property; however our nights were not so great since the mattress is just too soft. We couldn't have the proper rest the consecutive nights and it was pretty frustrating. Nothing bad with the condo itself, but if they could do something about it we will definitely come back in a heart beat. Also, we believe that check out was way too early (10:00 am) If management could extend it for at least another hour people would appreciate that. Thank you.

Sun Destin is dingy, will not be back.

Old property, dirty and made me anxious. The unit was okay, minus the two inches of water that backed up when I showered, the sink backing up with water, bedding that seemed to have stains or were dirty. Pullout couch was broken, and mattress on it was so dirty we just covered the couch and slept on it.Multiple guests were having issues, one got in an argument with front desk staff because his unit had a 5gallon bucket under the sink filled with mold. Not kidding, and she told him to leave it until the morning. Indoor pool area dank/dark, overall NOT impressed! Beach is beautiful, but not worth staying here.
