We have stayed at the Silver Dunes a number of times over the last 10 years. We have been pleased with every stay. The Silver dunes are located on the beach. The beach there is private, managed and great for the family. We will make future visits to this facility. We recommend the Silver Dunes to any family or couple.

The walking distance to the beach was perfect. The condos are not high rise nor a very big property but I enjoyed it because the private beach was perfect for social distance . Looking over to other condos they looked very packed. The condo was nice and spacious my only complaint is that the condo was not throughly cleaned . I didn’t care that their wasn’t really coffee and other small toiletries other host leave but I do wish there was some dish soap and a sponge so I could have cleaned some pans I used either way left them in dishwasher as I should have.

Location was perfect. Very easy to check-in and out. The particular condo I was in could have been cleaner. Outside noise was prevalent, especially the trash trucks. It felt dark and outdated. It was sufficient for a long weekend but I wouldn’t want to spend a whole week there.

The property was right in the middle of Destin, so it was close to shopping, dining and amusement parks. It was also right on the beach and had a nice swimming pool. The only problem was that it was hard to get out of the property due to heavy traffic and no traffic lights in the day time. The property also feel dated, but had a nice view of the beach and plenty of room for a family of 4 adults and 4 children.

The condo was so nice. It had everything you needed within a few minutes from places to eat and things to do. The staff was very nice and friendly. The beach service was awesome will definitely be staying there again.

Because Expedia dropped the ball on my reservation and contacted me 6 hours after I left my house that my reservation was no longer available. Then Expedia put me in a terrible place as a “make up”..! What a disappointment Expedia is! I’m handicapped and I couldn’t “walk” 5 minutes to the beach!!!! I’ll never use Expedia again!

It was amazing! A202 was incredibly comfy, beautifully decorated! All the amenities were right there, the beach, the bathrooms right off of the beach were super convenient! Older Property - Fair Pricing.

Arrived after 7PM Check-in time. Security at gate (Kevin) helped us with no issues. Older rooms, ready for updating and minor maintenance. However, we were comfortable and really had no issues with room. Remember - this being a condo, you do not get daily maid service, which was no issue for us. Tried to use the pool a couple of times, in the evenings, however, too many kids. Unfortunately, one night, a kid pooped in the pool and it had to be shut down due to no maintenance on site. NOT the properties fault - just parents not supervising kids. I am a Property Manager, in Atlanta - and though it sounds gross, would have issue solved and corrected, per code, and pool opened, fairly quickly. Worse issue - Our unit was close to garbage can/dumpster. So, on tow consecutive mornings, at approximately 6-630am, we were awoken to dumpster being rolled from its location under trash chute, to the truck waiting to lift, bang and empty. Then it was rolled back to its home. Maybe working with trash company to re-arrange route/schedule slightly, to have this happen - say after 8am?! Otherwise, older property, great location, friendly office staff and fair pricing.

Stay away from this place

This is the worst place i have ever stayed at , I paid for a 2 bedroom 2 baths condominium one room with a king bed and the second with two queen beds and I got one with a queen bed and the second with a full size bed and a twin bed which were the worst beds we have ever slept at they were harder than the floor and really old , and what they did to resolve the issued ? They did nothing !!! 1500 dollar for three nights to go back home with a really bad back pain.
