This stunning newly renovated pet-friendly home, Goldfinch, offers 4 generous bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, & a wonderful location in Destin, FL. The full kitchen, dining area, & living room are elegantly decorated & provide the perfect place to spend quality time with the family. Watch a movie on the large HDTV or go for a swim in the private pool (that can be heated for an additional fee). On warm days, you can enjoy an afternoon barbecue with the grilling station & wet bar while sitting around the outdoor dining area & then cool off in the crisp, cool water of the private pool. This home also comes with a foosball table and a ping pong table.

With two floors of luxurious space, in this Destin vacation rental home, you will certainly have enough room for the whole family. There are two master bedrooms with king-sized beds, private bathrooms, HDTVs, and desks with a computer monitor. One is located on the first floor & the other on the second floor. So you can spread out & have privacy. The master king suite's bathroom on the first floor offers a jacuzzi tub & double walk-in shower. The third bedroom features two queen-size beds, an HDTV, & an attached bath. The fourth bedroom loft offers an HDTV, two twin over twin size bunk beds & a twin trundle bed to sleep a total of 5, perfect for children! While this home does not offer cable, it does feature streaming services on all TVs with YouTube TV & Amazon Fire TV Sticks. This home is great for a stress-free family vacation. Plus, you can even bring the family dog! This vacation rental home also offers a half bath off the pool area patio, a laundry room with a washer & dryer, another half bath off the common areas, an attached garage, & sleeps a total of 13 guests.

Destiny East is an exclusive gated community that offers several amenities, including a clubhouse, 2 neighborhood pools, a hot tub, a fitness center, a movie theater, tennis, basketball courts, a BBQ area with outdoor kitchen, walking trails, & playground! The neighborhood is located on pedestrian and golf cart-friendly Scenic 98. So you can walk down to the beach to catch a sunset or take a relaxing bike ride. We also offer golf cart and bike rentals at a discounted price, so if you're interested, please let us know!

Nice but needs maintenance

The house is very nice and just as pictured. However the amenities need maintenance or upgrading. The golf carts provided are very used and one barely had brakes. The bicycles also need work! The garage door is very close to breaking and we were thankful it didn’t while we stayed. The grill also needs to be replaced. Overall we had a nice stay and it is in good proximity to beaches and all Destin has to offer!

Everything was great except the beds

Everything was as it should be at the house. It was very nice and clean. Our only complaint were the mattresses in each bedroom. The mattress in the downstairs master was too firm for us and it slanted where your feet were a little higher than your head. Also, the left side of the mattress appeared to be quite worn as is slept much lower than the right side; almost like in a hole. I don't know the specifics of the other two beds in the other two bedrooms - I was just told they were not comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was comfortable and provided exactly what they promised, however, it is very tired and is in need of repair and updating. The laminate (hardwood) floors are peeling and split in many places. The sliding doors are all so old that they struggle to slide. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms are old and some hang on hinges. The tv in the loft room did not operate and we waited for it to be replaced and never was. The pool is nice and large and was warm as promised yet the lounge furniture by the pool is not comfortable. The grill was dirty and we did not use it. The golf carts are older but operate fine. The management company was responsive and helpful every time we needed them.

Amazing Vacation Home

This home was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. Pool area was great and kids loved riding on the golf carts to the beach and to the park right down the road. Property manager was very response to the few questions we had when checking in. Would definitely stay here again.

Pretty Home

Home is pretty and in a great neighborhood. Needs a bigger refrigerator that doesn’t freeze your expensive food ingredients and pool lights that function. Otherwise, a great home away from home! We enjoyed our stay.
