The house was very clean. The Beach view from the porch was wonderful. The stove and ice machine were not working. Contacted the rental company and they were sending someone to repair both. Otherwise the house was a great layout for 11 adults and 4 kids. Would definitely recommend this house. Looking to book it again next May.

This place was absolutely perfect for our family! The layout was great with all of the different bedrooms! We loved the icemaker/wine fridge/wet bar area. It was also great to have a mini fridge on the third floor! The elevator made unloading and reloading all of our luggage a breeze. This house has the best view of all of the houses that we have stayed in in this neighborhood. Beach access was close and so was pool access!. We would love to stay here again! Communication with the property manager was easy and we received lots of messages and updates to keep us informed of check-in and check out procedures.Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay for our favorite week of the year!

The house and location were perfect. We had a couple of minor needs to contact the property management company and they were very responsive and helpful. Nancy went above and beyond to make certain this was a great rental experience. Our family had a great time and made some wonderful memories.

The home was well maintained and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to the beach was a big plus. We had a great time playing pool everyday and set up a fun family tournament. The weather was comfortable and the house worked out perfectly for the family. Thank you!

This house needs some updating. It’s very worn. The outside furniture cushions were so dirty. The tile in the house needs some extreme cleaning or replacement. The rooms are large but the furniture is worn and some broken. The bedroom on the main floor needs a chair. The internet and tv’s were in and out - had to keep resetting everything. However, we traveled with 8 adults and 6 kids and we had plenty of room really enjoyed the pool table and so are table. The subdivision pool is nice but sometimes overcrowded. The walk to the beach was short and the private beach is so nice. We had issues with the ice machine but were given bags of ice to get us through. The house had a great grill, well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels.But renters beware - you cannot have any tents or personal umbrella’s. We had 3 - 2 year olds and we put up a small 2 foot high tent under our umbrella and were told to remove it immediately. This is extreme - this HOA doesn’t want your kids to have any sun protection. For this reason we probably won’t rent here again.

Anniversary Paradise

Our family had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home in Destin as we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. The home was very convenient to the beach and community pool and was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely love to come back again!!

So family oriented, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Appreciate the HOA rules, it keeps the community beautiful. Our house was beautiful, needed a few little things done but everyone had fun with new memories everyday.

- [ ] There are approximately 4,500 commonly used adjectives in the English language. Regarding our trip to Playa Del Mar, I will use awesome. We were a four generation family that enjoyed every moment and amenity. Playa Del Mar was exceptionally clean and meticulously maintained. Kitchen area was extraordinary. I am very thankful for the elevator. My wife had a total ankle rebuild and was able to ‘visit’ all three floors without any undue stress. I hate to mention the parking problem. It does present a dilemma if a large family is involved. This problem affects every home as there are only six public spaces available. I do not see a solution. Again, awesome time at Playa Del Mar. If possible, will definitely book again. Highly recommend!

The house is really nice and the layout is beautiful. You can see the beach from the house which is nice. We did have some issues which need addressed but it is normal living areas. Electronics in the house need updated, the internet would not work properly and it took a technician an entire morning of our trip to repair. The remotes to the TV's all need updated in each room and adjusted to a more simplistic method of how you function. The place overall is a must stay, and being a landlord is not easy to accommodate all requests, but the team did try for sure. Appreciate all the efforts and help.

Nice home just a bit dated

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, well equipped kitchen and good location. The biggest downside was how dated it is. The furniture is very old, worn and dingy, especially in the main sitting area. Also if you like soft fluffy towels and more than one big your own. Towels were below average. Other than that it was a nice property.

The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked for a large group, however there were some things that we were surprised to find at the nightly rate we paid. The house is 27 years old and some of the interior finishes are dated and it is showing its age. Some of the paint on the porch rails is peeling off, outdoor cushions are stained, the mirrors in the master bath are de-silvering, and some of the TV remotes didn’t have batteries. Our older guests in the downstairs bedroom had to use bedspreads from other rooms as extra blankets. The large stove was nice, but we couldn’t get the oven to light. The location and neighborhood is nice, the elevator was also a big plus as 3 of us are 80. Convenient to grocery and other shopping, and walkable to several restaurants. Plenty of room on the beach.

Perfect Location

Nice property just 200yds from the beach access. Great little gated community. The beach was awesome and not overcrowded. The provided beach chairs and equipment was a plus as we did not have to rent chairs. We did check in in between trash days and the trash was full from previous guests. There was an ash tray full of cigarette butts on the balcony but no smoke smell in the home. The home overall worked out great for my family. I would book here again!

Amazing location

This was an amazing house in an ideal location, with a very accurate property listing. You could tell that it was towards the end of a long summer season for the property as there were quite a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The main refrigerator, a nice Sub-zero, needs serious maintenance as it had a wall of frost on the back wall of the refrigerator side, it never cooled properly all week. We ended up with multiple foods going bad. Property management was prompt in their responses, but saying to use a small refrigerator in the garage wasn’t a good option. By far the largest frustration with the house all week. Some other minor issues like a bar ice maker quitting, master bath sink staying clogged up, and overall lack of deep cleaning. We had 13 people of all ages and had an amazing time at the house, beach across the street and close proximity to just about any activity.

This property had plenty of room and comfortable spots for our large group to find a relaxing spot or enjoy time together. The location was good and the walk to the beach was not far which made it convenient to walk back to the house if needed. There were some things that didn’t work quite right in the house but the property manager was really quick to help and offered wonderful service. This was just what we needed.

We had a great stay at this home with a group of 8 adults. The home is beautiful and there is so much space. We liked that each couple had their own room with a king sized bed and bathroom. The beach was a quick walk across the street and the neighborhood is so safe and well maintained. I had read prior reviews that the home is a little dated - it was. But that’s ok! I would rather stay in a comfortable home that’s a little dated than worry about ruining a perfectly put together home. On the downside the floors were a little dirty. That did not take away from our enjoyment!
