Livin' on Beach Time - Destin Gulfgate 0305!

  • Come relax and enjoy the world-famous sugar white beaches of the emerald coast in this beautifully, updated condo. This 1430sq foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo features a 30 foot private beach-front balcony, high speed wireless internet and free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.) This large condo has a luxurious brand-new king-size memory foam bed in the master bedroom, featuring a new Smart TV. The guest bedroom is equipped with 2 brand new memory foam queen beds. Both bathrooms offer walk-in showers. A sofa sleeper can be found in the living room, as well as a writing desk and brand new 65" Smart TV making a perfect place to relax, unwind, or get some work done with a view. The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and a fully stocked kitchen (Keurig Coffee Maker included) so you’ll have everything you need to enjoy a come cooked meal. A brand-new full-size washer and dryer can be found in the laundry room. This condo has tile throughout. This condo includes covered, reserved parking.

    All units at Destin Gulfgate are non smoking. This unit does not accept monthly/long term reservations.

Great Spot

This is a great condo. Good location, close to everything, and great beach access. The views from the balcony are priceless, you get both sunrises and sunsets. Matched photos and description 100%. We’ll definitely be back!

The furniture and master bed were very uncomfortable (thinking they are just worn down), but we were at the beach or pool most of the time so it wasn’t a huge hinderance. The staff is always great and there’s never a wait at the elevators!! 10/10

The cushions on the den couch need to be replaced. The patio furniture was NOT what is shown on the website. We chose this unit partly because the patio furniture online looked so comfortable and fresh. We were disappointed. I have stayed at DGG many times and this was the first time our friends joined us. Prior to the trip I sent the link to our friends, so they too were expecting more from the patio furniture.

Mother’s Day Week Treat

Reviewer Comments: For many years now me, my sister, our cousin and aunt go to Destin for Mother’s Day week as our treat to ourselves.We have tried several condos in the area but we love Destin Gulf Gate the most. We love the location, the helpful staff downstairs, the large size of each unit, built-in cabinet ice maker, the walk-in pool, gym, the cleanliness of every unit and the high standards that Destin Gulf Gate requires of its owners. We have stayed in a different unit each year and they have all been lovely.This year we chose unit 305 because of its price, its decorator and good reviews. We found the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The beds where extremely comfortable, super soft bedding, plenty of bath towels, and a nice large washer and dryer. The refrigerator was new and large, the stove had many burners. The “cabana guys” on the beach were so polite and carried our ice chest to and from our umbrella each day. Christian and Bailey went beyond and above to see that these ol’ gals were taken care of. :)Thank you for another wonderful stay at Destin Gulfgate and we hope to return to unit 305 in the future.As a side note, recommendation to our favorite places to eat; Dewey’s on the bay (Crab Island) has THE BEST fried shrimp. The grouper sandwich is so good at the Back Porch (walking distance) and Tuscany Italian Bistro is delish. Also, Bochamps and Tommy Bahama’s did not disappoint this Mother’s Day brunch as Henderson Inn, but it’s a bit pricey. Enjoy!

Right on the beach and great area for families to enjoy numerous activities within walking distance! Walmart was literally two minutes down the street for groceries or any other things needed. Construction was happening and our patio furniture was in our living room for our entire stay. We were aware of this process before we arrived. Gulfgate had in writing the warning of balconies could be inaccessible. However it was a shock to come back from an outing to see everything in our condo. Without a call, text, or email for a warning. Some simple contact would have been considerate. Overall our stay was wonderful.

We had to sweep sand off of the floors from previous renters. We had to wash the extra blankets in living room and closet because they smelled bad/ used. Pool is small for as many people that were in it, not much room for kids to swim as it was full of adults.
