Great place to stay

Private property along with private beach access and short Walk to beach. Lots of cool places close to area to drive and visit. A lot of fun activities within the complex!!

AMAZING VACATION

THE PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS WAS THE CHERRY ON TOP ALONG WITH TWO RESTAURANTS LOCATED ONSITE. THE RENTAL WAS VERY CLEAN AND ALL NECESSITIES PROVIDED. CLEAN LINEN EXCHANGE WAS LITERALLY TEN STEPS AWAY. MANY POOLS AND HOT TUBS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. AND WATER TAXI AVAILABLE FOR ANYWHERE IN THE BAY.

Dirty and old

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me start by saying that the location of this property is great. The beach is beautiful. However, this apartment unit is old, badly maintained and was delivered to us very very dirty. We had to go to Target and buy a mop. And let me tell you, that floor wasn't cleaned in probably a year judging by the amount if nastiness we removed with the mop.

The locations was great. The property was nice, pools, golf course, ect. The condo however was not that great. You can tell maintenance has not been kept up. The bedroom was so small you have to slide sideways with you butt agaist the wall to get around the bed. The bed and couch bed were worn out. The bed sagged in the middle so bad we had to put the kids in it and we slept on the couch bed. Which of course you could feel every spring in it. Poor ventilation in the bedroom with no fan. The sliding glass door was very tough to open. The paint was peeling on the walls and ceiling. There were also bugs in the bathroom. No door for the laundry room. There was also maintenance equipment in the hall closet. Overall we felt like there were probably much better condos on the property but ours was just not taken care of as it should be.

Convenient location but needs some TLC

The pictures of this unit don’t reflect some of the downfalls of this unit: very soft, noisy, uncomfortable mattress, very uncomfortable lazy boy (instead of the nice armchair in the pictures) in the living room - sofa is overly soft too with little support (we did not use the hide-a-bed mattress so will not comment on that). We are in our 60s so these things caused lower back issues. An update of all furniture would be beneficial - a rung fell off the dining chair as soon as my husband put his foot on it and there’s a broken stool in the closet (no door as in the pictures - just a curtain). The bathroom in particular needs to have holes in the wall filled (from moving the over toilet shelf unit) and a paint job - and the black mold growing in the handle for the tub’s water faucet is gross - it wouldn’t cost much to replace. The complex itself is well kept and the check in process went smoothly (except for being given the wrong password for the WiFi code but that got straightened out). There are a ton of dishes in the cupboards - it would be good to just keep one set of 8 place settings and move the rest so that a cupboard could be used for groceries. The ice machine in the fridge was a nice feature. It was the only appliance we used besides the microwave. The restaurant onsite (Louisiana Lagniappe) isn’t cheap but it’s GREAT food! Beach across the street and convenient location overall.

Poorly Maintained Condo -Needs Total Rehab

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed with my condo choice at SPC for the most part. When I got there, I did the inspection, and this condo is poorly maintained. I went to the office and Mika(?) did a great job with customer service, and she did offer me another unit, but I decided to stay in this one (as the replacement one smelled). I took pictures with me. This condo needs a TOTAL Rehab. All the furniture is old and/or damaged, several places of the sheetrock tape was peeling with wide gaps and was painted over throughout the unit, the ceiling sheetrock tape was peeling, the interior walls/paint was very dirty, the exterior was old looking, an electric plug was loose, and the upstairs people were extremely noisy. Customer service was very good, but this condo was not & in very poor condition. I would definitely stay at SPC again but not this unit. Hopefully the owner will put needed funds into their condo but be careful of choosing 8131 as it will be a disappointment. And for house cleaning, there was long hair all over the shower walls and on the ceiling, and the older lady in housekeeping was mean when I rang the doorbell and then yelled at me when I started to leave since it took forever for them to come help me get more soap. She was aggravated when she opened the window. And the parking for this unit is non-existent as you will need to walk to the other areas due to placement of the units. Make your decision to stay here wisely but take heed to my review.

Tired of the Phoenix heat

When they close at 4 pm. That caused us to clean up and go out. To eat when we could have stayed in after coming in from the beach.
