Fantastic Harborside Stay

Wonderful, perfectly ideal waterside condo! No negatives here! Tastefully decorated, bright, comfortable condo with well stocked kitchen. Ideal location with a beautiful view of harbor and only a short walk to the beach. Property in excellent location, close to Destin restaurants, shopping and golf courses.

Charming overlooking bay

This unit was perfect for us. There is the balcony/porch that overlooks the bay and there is a second porch that is ground lever where you can wet a line in the shallow harbor. This unit is clean with new style appliances. We had six in our party, two used the hide-a-way sofa/bed. We all were pleased! The compact washer/dryer is perfect for vacations. Sandpiper Cove is a great property! The only downside to this unit is dealing with the patrons of the Louisiana restaurant parking near the unit, but don’t let this small inconvenience prevent you from renting the property.

Great view

Overall the condo was as listed, great view, very convenient being next to a pool. However, the coffee pot had mold in the water line, we just bought a mini keurig of our own to use. The master king bed has an old yellow foam topper on a very aged mattress that was not ideal to sleep on. Now this has nothing to do with the owners or the condos management, but parking in the evenings was a challenge to say the least. Being next to Louisiana Lagniappe as they get extremely busy every evening and the public as well as other Sandpiper residents/guests DO NOT seem to care that they are parking in reserved parking for those units next to the restaurant. As great as the view was, we won't book this condo again.

Perfect location

Overall, this stay was so much fun. I would definitely bring my family here again. The location was 10 stars. There was an area on the bottom level of the back porch that had a little sand spot for the kids, and also shallow water of the bay. The kids enjoyed playing, and the parents enjoyed lounging in the morning shade while watching them. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room. Only negatives, but nothing that was a deal breaker: Outlets in the master vanity area did not work Dead roaches and snacks under the couch Foul smell and liquid in the fridge upon arrival. The smell of bleach was so strong, it burned your eyes. The dishwasher wouldn’t completely shut. The top drawer seemed to have lost a roller. Several fruit flies (possibly from the dishwasher?) Like I said, none of the above were deal breakers for my family, but those are the only areas that could improve. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Perfect anniversary getaway

Will be a repeat visitor for life! Our second year coming this property. It’s my family’s absolute favorite. Location is everything! We drive to the beach because we have 4 little ones. Wonderful Stay!

This is an amazing property. Me and my family were in Sandpiper Cove for a family reunion, and while everyone’s accommodations were wonderful, this definitely stood out. From the patio overlooking the harbor, the board games and puzzles to the cleanliness…it was truly a magical stay. Thank you for a memorable get away.

Beautiful Location!

Our family loved this location on a quiet section of Destin Harbor. My teens enjoyed fishing from balcony, marina dock, and off the ocean shore. Many swimming opportunities in the pools or short walk to ocean. The harbor view from balcony was beautiful and relaxing. Condo was perfect for our family of 4.

Great Location

Great location, loved the condo layout. Enjoyed the big back Poarch overlooking the harbor. Only complaint is that this is the second time the cleaning service has unlocked the door and walked in on us before the designated checkout time.

This has to be the best VRBO location i have ever stayed. The description and pictures dont come close to how beautifully decorated and inviting it is. Everything was perfect!! Definitely will try to get this one again for our next visit. Definitely hated leaving.

Heart of Destin - No better spot in town!

Home was beautiful, large, clean, decorated nicely, all the amenities including a heart warming coffee cup made for 'Hey Hey and Na-Na' (sooooo cute). Master and living room opened up to a huge bay balcony with tons of seating. Pools, beach, property were immaculate, security and residents were friendly. Will definitely be returning!

Beautiful stay in Destin!

Check in was easy, description of the condo was very accurate. Condo was clean, the balcony and deck were such an added bonus. You can fish from right outside your condo. Pool is right next door along with tennis courts. Walk to the beach took about five minutes. Beds are very comfortable, and communication was fast. Thank you for having us, we enjoyed the condo!

Incredible property!

This property was perfect for our family of three. The property is decorated well, but I also wasn't too worried about my 2-year-old ruining anything. The view from the balcony is incredible! My husband fished so the double-balcony was perfect, and my son enjoyed the beach toys on the lower level. The location within Sandpiper Cove is excellent, too. We walked to Louisiana Lagniappe one night and had the pool to ourselves one morning. We will absolutely return to the property again!

This is our second time in this condo due to location, and the ability to launch our kayaks from the back area with ease. I would say to let your tenants know where the porch lights are. We found them the last night there. Thoroughly enjoyed the condo, pool, beach, snorkeling, and shopping. Hope to return again:). Thank you for sharing your home with us:).

Fantastic spring break.

Perfect property for our 5 and 3 yr olds! Views off the back deck are amazing. Able to go paddle boarding off the back. Beach was private, loved having chairs reserved for us and the service was great. Drove to the beach because of the sand toys and bags. Bought snacks and drinks at the restaurant on the beach. Located close to Target which was great for buying food and a few last minute activities when we had yucky weather. The rental area was private and the main entrance security were extremely helpful and kind. Will definitely rent again!

Perfect in every way!

The condo is absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms are bigger than they look in pictures. My husband and I along with our 4 small kids stayed and we had plenty of room. The view of the harbor is amazing and it was so nice to step outside to fish. Eating dinner on the deck or coffee in the mornings is perfect. Very short walk to the ocean. The resort and condo are very clean and up to date. I seriously cannot think of anything negative. My family and I loved our stay and we'll definitely be staying in this condo again. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!!

Great location and lots to do

This rental is great. Clean. Nice layout. Beautiful views off back porch. Walking distance to beach. Lots of nearby activities like paddle boarding, dolphin cruise, et . Only gave it 4 stars because there was no welcome book to orient us to things like where some of the light switches were (some are inside a pantry) or how TV setup worked. The place was also sparsely stocked. Only one trash bag. Limited kitchen supplies. Overall though those things were minor issues. It was a very nice rental.

Property was nice. Given wrong code for checking in. Girl on first call could not help me but she did try and eventually hung up on me. The second lady did eventually get me in and she reset code to the original PIN number. This was not a good experience dealing with this issue while standing outside in the heat.

Perfect Condo

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family. The view on the back patio was second to none. So very relaxing. We had a great view for the Thursday night fireworks and the local wildlife put on a spectacular show as well! We will come again!
