Welcome to Zesty Orange Abode! This vibrant studio features bold orange accents, including a striking bedframe and bar stools, set against a backdrop of sleek white, grey, and brown tones. Perfect for a lively and stylish stay, it’s located in downtown Des Moines, steps from the trendy East Village, Des Moines Riverwalk, and Historic Court District. Enjoy a chic and energetic space that’s ideal for exploring the city or simply relaxing in comfort.
By booking, you read and agree to all of the following house rules:

House Rules:

1. Please park on the street.

2. Smoking, drug, and vape use are not allowed inside the unit or hallways of the building. There is a $500 fine if discovered.

3. Parties are not allowed on this property, including loud music. There is a $500 fee if a party is discovered or if a neighbor complains about excessive noise. Quiet Hours: 10 PM - 8 AM.

4. A lost, missing, or damaged key, or fob has a replacement cost of $150.

5. Early check in and late check out cost $28 each. If you want to check in early, please let us know ahead of time. We will notify you when the unit is ready for early check-in on the day of arrival.

6. You will be charged for any missing or damaged items, including stained sheets and towels.

7. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.

8. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you're staying at. You may deliver items to the door, or to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you retrieve delivered mail or items.

9. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.

10. By booking, you agree not to hold us liable for any injuries, lost items, or accidents that happen on the property, whether inside or outside.

11. There is one noise monitor in the living space. Tampering, blocking, or disconnecting the device will result in immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

12. We do not allow pets in the unit.

13. Hosts and the property manager must be able to contact you via the phone number you provided if needed.

14. You will need to request a key fob from us BEFORE YOUR CHECK-IN DAY/ARRIVAL to access the amenities (gym, rooftop).

15. If you or your party steal or damaged anything from the unit or the property, the person named in the reservation will be held liable.

16. Failure to follow our house rules may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund and/or immediate removal from the property. We enforce these rules strictly to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests.

17. For the safety and security of all guests, the door code is for your use only. Do not share it with anyone outside of your reservation, including visitors, friends, or delivery personnel. If the code is shared and any issues arise such as theft, damage, or unauthorized access, you will be held responsible, and we are not liable for any resulting loss or incident. Violating this rule may also lead to immediate cancellation of your stay without a refund.

My stay was nice the only complaints I can think of is that the where not swept well and some of the dishes where a little dirty but all in all i had a nice stay.
