The gal checking people in did a phenomenal job. When we arrived, there was a line for room check in, and the gal working the desk remained calm, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend Spring Hill Suites Des Moines West.

The staff was very nice. Our room was very clean and roomy. Considering how hot it was outside, our room was cool and comfortable. Breakfast was good and well-stocked. My sons and I took advantage of the workout room after a long day in the car.

Front desk staff when checking in were awesome. Very friendly guy. Property seemed a little aged, especially the pool area. Breakfast was par for the brand. One thing that was odd, housekeeping came in a took out trash and replaced towels, but didn’t make beds. Seemed a bit odd at the time. Overall, it gave us a place to stay and sleep while in town.

The room was clean, the staff went out of their way to help us with more bedding and towels, the breakfast was good, could have a few more choices, but way better than some other places. The hot tub was hot, which is very good.

Front desk gentleman was very helpful and hospitable. Hotel room was mostly clean, though we did have a one of the comforters that appeared dirty— but front desk gave us a fresh one with no issues. Only real complaint was the breakfast— the breakfast room is way too small for the amount of people that showed for breakfast (830am) at the time we were there. We had to stand and eat and most of the food choices were gone when we arrived (breakfast crew was doing their best to keep up, but seemed understaffed maybe or maybe just not enough options available?). We let the kids eat and then the adults went elsewhere for food because of the lack of food available. All-in-all it was still a nice stay and we would return and recommend, just try to get to breakfast first thing instead.
