"We booked as the hotel has a pool but when we arrived we were told it was closed for maintenance. However the manager went out of his way to arrange for it and the sauna to be opened so we could use the facilities. The hotel has a roof top restaurant which served good quality food but it was full of people smoking. Our bathroom was in a dreadful state with black mold on the ceiling, rotting door frame and peeling and discoloured grout. The breakfast was superb and had an amazing choice of mezes....

The town is small but very charming, I couldn't visit the castle but looks very nice. I assume the lack of amenities was because the hotel is under major renovation. Seaside rooms are excellent though quite small. Highway side may be noisy as it is right next to the property. Overall excellent value for money. Walking distance to markets.
