Shearwater Beach Front Vacation Rental 3000 sqft

Welcome to Shearwater. Your home by the sea. Shearwater has room for 10, so bring the kids and grandchildren. The main level includes the kitchen, dining, living room with a sleeper sofa and master suite with jetted tub. Hickory cabinets, myrtle wood floors and trim, tile floors and Berber carpet throughout the home. Upstairs includes a full bath, 2 bedrooms, one with a private balcony, both with queen size beds. Downstairs is a 4th bedroom, hall bath, Jacuzzi changing room, family room with 2 sofa sleepers, secondary dining area, futon sofa sleeper with a high quality mattress, and an away room with a fireplace, TV, and 4 by 8 pool table. The Jacuzzi room is off the first floor deck. Your private beach access is immediately in front of Shearwater. Come and stay, relax and play. While not ADA compliant, the main level is wheelchair friendly. Shearwater has parking for 5 vehicles and a local staff available when needed.


Within a 15 mile radius: Within a 15 mile radius you have access to an aquarium and two light houses, three 18-hole golf courses, factory outlet shopping and a casino. Deep sea fishing and whale watching excursions at Depoe Bay. An excursion on a zodiac boat with a whale biologist gets you about as close to a whale as anyone will.

Shearwater was a great place for our group of 7 ladies. Plenty of room, we each had our space! Huge table for meals and games, awesome decks, easy beach access, very well stocked kitchen, and clean hot tub with a view. It was a perfect stay!

Great house for a larger family

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shearwater home, it’s just a few minutes away from Depot bay and 15-20 minutes from Lincoln city. Our family liked the layout of the home and it fit our family of 9 perfectly.The walk down to the beach is fairly easy . We would definitely stay at this home again!

We had a group of seven. There was plenty of room for everyone and great family space for meals and games. The ocean front was beautiful and we saw whales from the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Booking was easy and the host was very accommodating. The family s already asking me to book a got her vacation here.

Amazing house, views, and beach (with access)

Serene is the word I would use to describe my stay. The location is the best we have stayed at in over 6 trips to the Oregon coast. The rocks on the South end of the beach provide great photos of Starfish. The ocean view was frequented by whales (the whale boat tours swarm the area and you will see spouts of water appear before the whale surfaces). Host was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This house was beyond perfect for our group of 9, which was initially suppose to be 14 and would have still comfortably fit all of us. We all were able to sit at the dinner table for meals and look out over the ocean that was within a short walking distance. The sun was shining, which made the experience that much better! The owner was very kind and helpful! We will be booking again for sure!!

Amazing Vacation- perfect location

Perfect location, so close to the beach!! A simple walk, we didn’t even pack snacks because it was so easy to run back to the house. Great beach, good for walking along, ride pools, great place for kids to play. The house had a pool room that kept the kids occupied while not at the beach. The multiple levels provide a great view and it was nice and quiet when I needed a break from the rest of the group. The host was very very nice and accommodating. I will be back!!

This place was great! It's right on the beach with a path through the backyard to the sandy beach. Lots of rooms, a hot tub, pool table, and extra space all around. The huge dining room table was really great for all 16 of us. We would definitely come back. The owner was particularly helpful and consciences. Loved it!

Shearwater review

We arrived at Shearwater on 9/14/24. The home was easy to find, and right on the water as described. The only thing was that the path to the water was a bit too sketchy for me to navigate (older and arthritic), but the views were absolutely stuffing. There is a grocery store across the street, and the restaurants and tours are only a few minutes away.. The home could use a bit of a deep cleaning, but it wasn't a problem during our stay. There were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was one of the best equipped we have stayed at...the bedrooms were lovely and the beds comfortable. We absolutely loved the evenings down in the living room, with the fire on, and views galore. We will love coming back to this home again.
