There were so many issues,I don't know where to begin. Upon entry of the room, a strong musty odor just punched us in the face. I assume the cleaning lady tried to air it out because, when my family and I arrive the door was open. Which made us feel very uncomfortable.( Why was the door just open )
First, I will like to point out how unsafe our room was. The lock on the room had clearly been forcible broken off and then re-attached. (Barley hanging on the door)You can see the plaster around the lock. The bathroom latch was broken off also, as if someone had been previously attacked in that room. Also the sink was cracked.
The bath tub had a dirt ring around the tub, which grossed us out. I had to personally reclean the bathroom to feel comfortable enough to use it. The sheets on the beds had wholes in them. The beds were extremely uncomfortable to sleep in because the mattresses were so lumpy and worn out. I sunk in the middle when I laid down. ( I only weighed 135lbs)
I was upset to find out about the $10.00 per night parking fee ,they change. The front desk lady told me all hotels charge but that was a lie. We checked the surrounding hotels and they did not charge. Last year, we stayed at the Stay bridges on the same street and they didn't charge for parking.
Besides the lumpy and worn out mattress, it was difficult to get a good nights rest because, it was so noisy. The walls are so thin we could here everything going on in the hall and in the rooms next door. Ther
