Our family of four really enjoyed this place. We booked the quadruple room which was perfect for two teenage boys. Beds were incredibly comfy and bathroom was nice. A really family/cabin vibe and walking distance to the fun town of Talkeetna (try the Mountain High Pizza High - So good!) A fun bar next to our room was fun too! A great option to consider. We would stay there again

Located close to the primary food and shopping options plus it’s next to the river where you can sometimes see Denali, we got a partial view of it and the range it’s a part of once the pouring rain stopped. All easy walking distance which was great. Room was very tight but it is a 2 Star hotel, so did not have high expectations and spent very little time there.

The room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly helpful. There’s a bar on-site, which was a nice touch. The parking was conveniently located outside the rooms, which was great. I only stayed for one night, but it was raining all day, so I couldn’t enjoy the amenities outside the room. However, the location is perfect.

Our group of six enjoyed our stay here! The staff was so welcoming and helpful, and they were ready at the train station to pick us up and gave us a ride back when we left. The location was great — the river was nearby with views of Denali and the shops, restaurants, and historical sites were all within easy walking distance. We would stay here again.

The room was small, but adequate. The hotel was a bit off the main tourist road, so it was peaceful. We had a good view. There is a nice lounge. It was close to all the gift shops and restaurants, but far enough away to be quiet. All in all, it was quaint, quiet, clean, friendly, and well maintained. I would stay here again.
