Absolutely amazing experience. Location was great. Peaceful and calm. Clean rooms. Excellent and efficient service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Tasted like home made food.

Only stayed one night, but we had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had what we needed. Only thing was our particular room didn't have great ventilation so the steam from the shower stayed in the entire room.

Five Stars for The Visaya
My husband and I were very impressed by the outstanding and super- responsive smiling service, comfort, cleanliness and the beautiful interiors at The Visaya (which is right next to Panchsheel Club). Despite the chaotic and maddening traffic in South Delhi, The Visaya was an oasis of calm and tranquility. The breakfast was good and varied, the guest rooms and washrooms well designed and beautiful. All in all a very comfortable stay. We would highly recommend it to visitors from anywhere in the world. 4 star boutique with 3 star service.
The hotel is very fresh and clean, beautiful interior with good rooms.however the food is horrible and the service of their restaurant is also very poor. I have always given this feedback to their management in the past and also in this trip. However I see no improvement. Also the bathroom of the rooms are also not well maintained. So the next time I visit delhi, I will be having second thoughts of if I should stay at this hotel or choose another property.

There were several problems
We would not recommend staying here. The room was in slight disrepair, the air units were dirty, the shower door did not open completely, the door to the balcony did not lock, they "washed" our laundry and it returned smelly, and service to the room was slow or would sometimes forget. A few very nice guys at the front desk, but just as many unhelpful ones.

GREAT BOUTIQUE STAY
Well maintained Boutique Hotel. Excellent room and reception service. Food was average from the Hotel, however good buffett breakfast available. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Room was quite big in size.

Would not recommend!! We stayed at The Visaya a total of six nights on two separate occasions during a trip to Delhi. In addition, we had booked two other rooms for one night for friends. During the second week, we were awakened around 2:00 in the morning coughing and choking. My wife ended up in the bathroom throwing up. Next the room filled completely with smoke so I instructed my wife and daughter to evacuate the room immediately. My wife ended up in the lobby of the hotel in her nightgown. The night manager went up to our room and concluded the problem was that they were fumigating an adjoining room for mosquitoes and whatever was being used came into our room through the ventilation system. We contemplated finding other accommodations nearby but the night manager was adamant in convincing us to not leave the property in the middle of the night. We ended up being moved to a room in another part of the hotel but our night's sleep was ruined. When it came time to check out, we asked for the name of the material that we were subjected to (in the event of future complications) and were provided the name after numerous requests. In addition, we asked for one free night (out of six) for the issues we encountered. After numerous requests, phone calls and frustrations the only accommodation was a discount of 10%. Having no other alternative, we paid the bill and advised the management of our total frustration.

Good Location in South Delhi
This small "boutique" hotel in Pancheel Park is well suited for those needing to access South Delhi. I was attending a conference in Vasant Kunj so good location and acceptable rate. Stayed here before 5 years ago so decided to use it again, the bathrooms are starting to look a little shabby, attention to detail in cleaning could be improved. No bathmat in bathroom on first night not a big deal. the calcium build up around the taps needs to be addresses and mould in the shower.

Nice Hotel & Great Value
We arrives at the Visaya and bellman was helpful and check-in was easy. Room and bed were comfortable and bath was nice but a little dark. Fridge in room and close to meetings. Room was clean and bellman was kind to store our bags because of a later flight departure. Breakfast was nice but somewhat simple. Nice patio to dine on outdoors.

Lovely hotel in south delhi.
We had a superb stay at this hotel. Great experience. Just one thing that let us down! the air conditioning system kept playing up. We had to call the engineer twice to get it resolved. This didn't bother us too much as the engineer was quick at service. The room service was great and the staff very professional.

From the onset, I am going to book The Visaya for sure the next time I'm here. The moment you set your foot in the hotel from the hustle bustle of the capital city, you are greeted by the serene music and ambience of the clean and very professional facility. And further pleasantry was added by the courteous and well groomed staff. The room was comfortable and spacious. Had a mini fridge. Good flat screen tv. Closet with security box. 3 chairs. A coffee table. The bathroom was well equipped as well with warm and cold water. Out of the room, we loved the restaurant and the extended restaurant patio. Spent couple of evenings there till night with the sound of wind chimes. The breakfast had a good mix of cuisine items, from European, North/South/West Indian food. 24 hours room service with some class. The hotel hit above it's weight and wowed us. We loved it!

A 4 star hotel with sub 3 star cleanliness
This hotel is beautiful. Really. However, the bed sheets weren't perfectly clean. Their was mold around the bath. One pillow had traces of blood. I haven't noticed any measure to reduce the amount of mosquitoes. The staff was friendly and the food was average. Basically, I recommend the hotels owners to invest in renovations and in cleaning. With these measures, the hotel will deserve it's 4 star rating.

Front office staff need to improve attitude.
Restaurant staff is very friendly. And helpful while front office ( reception ) is bad in manner and attitude. They was making mistake by charge me wrong price for my minibar but when I tell them to correct it. Their face turn to angry and they saying something not nice to me in their language. That was rude.

American Bro Trip to India
It was amazing, in terms of all the little things - a second temporary WiFi password to allow for another two devices to connect (extra mobile phones/wireless devices), an excellent rotating selection of south Indian & continental breakfast foods, etc. Located about five minutes from the Hauz Khas metro by foot. My only gripe was the exceedingly pointless fitness center and the one time I was woken up at 6 am by the staff delivering a toothbrush to my room (why?). Otherwise, I was very happy with decor, cleanliness, facilities, and the service.

Excellent Hotel in Delhi
A friend in Delhi recommended this hotel. Great choice. The hotel is right on a major artery so access to the rest of the city is excellent. The room was very large and spacious. There is a regular double bed as well as a large couch for a third person to sleep if needed. We were in the second building on the property so we had the whole floor to ourselves. Our room was quiet and very private. Good elevator for our bags. The staff was SUPER helpful all the way from check-in to check-out. They were courteous, efficient and professional from the front desk staff to the excellent kitchen staff to room service. There was a very spacious and quiet outdoor deck just off the dining room to enjoy either a full meal or a leisurely dessert. This hotel was a great place to eat as there were no other restaurants close by that we could find. It was on the edge of a residential area so once we got off the street it was surprisingly quiet. Large western style bathroom with tub and shower was very nice. This is a recently built Western style hotel that looks and feels like a high end sophisticated hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent experience.
