elevator and wifi stopped functioning multiple times, routinely smelled cigarette smoke in my room, room had no windows, dust everywhere (including in my room)

I have to start off by commending front staff Krishna, Gaurav and Parth for providing amazing service. They were professional, courteous and always eager to help. Hotel rooms were clean and had all basic necessities. Some negatives that the hotel can improve on were making sure that the cleaning staff well trained, like making sure that basic toiletries are present, towels are available etc. Outside corner area was very dirty but the food at that corner place was tasty. Transportation service provided was reliable but prices were unusually hiked up I felt.

2.5* hotel thinks it’s 5*

Hotel likes to think it’s 5star. Definitely not if you have to call them 10 minutes before you want a shower to turn on the hot water?! Over keen to sell trips. No knowledge of local area (they told us bar/restaurants were 30 min drive away when only 5 min walk??!) Very noisy room as window did not close properly. Smoking in other rooms meant it came through air conditioning unit. Hotel taxi not 5* either; very battered old van that we had to call hotel as. Not turn up at airport.

To start when I got there after a 15 hr. Nonstop flight they were overbook, and they decided to send us to another hotel close by and the transportation was a tuk-tuk, so it was my wife and I plus the luggage (3 pcs) then we got to the 1 star filthy hotel and we stayed there overnight, a little scary, the next day we went to Leena hotel and they had a tiny room for me and my wife, I told them there was a mistake on that room, it was not the one shown, according to them it was Expidia's fault because they were showing the wrong pictures of the room itself, so I tried cancelling my reservation through expedia and they had to asked the hotel if they could cancel my 8 day reservation (all paid for) and of course the hotel was going to say no, so we end up staying at that tiny room for a single person with no windows, location wasn't good especially in the afternoon due to a lot of traffic. Overall it was a really bad experience for my wife and I.
