Our hosts were great as we only met john but i think Brenda was under the weather. They were very helpful as where to eat or what to see.. we definitely plan on going back.. highly recommended
Home was clean and tidy. Firewood was provided which was a plus for me. Great host and if you need anything, they are right next door. Great access to the trail. Will definitely stay here again.
Host was very nice and attentive! House was very clean, nice kitchen with all the amenities and the screened in porch was a bonus! Listed as a 4br but I would only consider it a 3br as one of the rooms would lack privacy if it were 4 couples. Would definitely stay here again.

Great host, enjoyed talking with them. They made sure that all our needs were taking care of. Great back porch to just relax! Will definitely be staying there again.
Very clean and up-kept property, Beds seemed like they were new, our group was happy. The included fire pit and grill were a plus! Our only inconvenience was no hose or wash station to wash off our machines, The owner told us the area has been having water problems at the time we stayed and that was the reason. The air conditioning is also fantastic here.
This place is in a perfect location for the trails and has everything you need! The hosts are beyond amazing and are very helpful. They make you feel like family! Will definitely be back!
This home was perfect with an at home feeling!! Perfect for all three trail heads and the hosts next door (John/Gayle) were absolutely wonderful and hospitable!! We will be coming back next year was another wonderful experience!!
We stayed at A&B Trail House, for our Memorial Day weekend. The property Manager called a day prior to walk us through directions since this specific property is “semi-remote” to cell service.
Our group left after work Thursday night for our 9 hour travels, landing us at A&B Trail House roughly at 2:30 am. Around 11pm, again the Property Manager called me asking if we were ok. (Above and beyond hospitality!) and reconfirmed the directions as we approached the pour cell signal areas.
The property itself was spotless! All information on the booking website was accurate and not altered (as some past properties we’ve stayed at were).
The location of the house is perfect for the Head Trails and also Sightseeing for miles and miles.
If you are planning to stay in West Virginia for riding the trails - look no further! From managing, hospitality, cleanliness…this is the PERFECT PLACE!
John & Brenda are perfect hosts. It felt like I was in my own home. The house had everything needed plus more. They told us if we needed anything to just let them know. We ended up having to leave a day early because of an emergency back home but we’ll definitely be back.
A few perks about the house, the living room was really good size. Perfect for relaxing and watching TV. A screened in back porch with a patio table and a couple recliners. Plus a fire pit and chairs to enjoy some s’mores. The king size bed was super comfortable for my husband and I. Our grandkids slept in the bunk beds with no complaints. TVs in every room. I just can’t say enough how nice this place is and just how wonderful the hosts are.
10/10 would recommend! Thanks again John & Brenda!!
