"Had a great time. Nice, warm and cosy place. Bus stop is right next door and i found public transport very good. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Lovely view from our room window. Check out is 10 but we were given extra time so we could catch a bus. I would highly recommend this place away from the hustle and bustle of Salzburg but still very close."

"Beautiful grounds in the weather was beautiful in July as well. They had fans to help with the heat hotel staff are friendly and courteous. I wish the pool was open later than 8 PM. The hotel rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean and mine had a unbelievable view of the mountains kids able to rent an E-bike to ride up to Eagles Nest. "Oberauer Wagrain is a wonderful alpine retreat. Beautiful location with mountain view from room and patio. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The room and bathroom were modern, beds very comfortable, breakfast good and with local products. We liked the location, walkable to the center, quiet at night and convenient for sightseeing. I enjoyed watching the morning sun moving down the mountain from the patio in the morning. One of the highlights of our alpine trip!"

"We were travelling with our 1 year old son and were really impressed with the hotel set up for youngsters. Small things like a nappy bin and a baby bath being provided along with a cot and high chair. Kids being allowed to use the pool until 6pm but retaining adult only space in the sauna area. A playground on site and the media room full of toys. We could keep the baby occupied but also enjoy some child-free relaxation. The location is wonderful, an easy drive from Salzburg, walking distance to two cable cars and innumerable alpine hikes. There are loads of attractions within 40 minutes drive. A small grocery shop in the village was perfect for bread/milk and there was a decent sized supermarket 10 minutes away by the motorway. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the kitchen was functional if not the best equipped. We really appreciated the laundry facilities in the basement. Two things that could have made the stay even better: - the hotel hosted several conferences during our stay and we were unable to use the bar during these events. It would be ideal if there was a separate space for regular guests to enjoy a drink or meal. - the charges for the swimming pool/ sauna are extortionate, particularly if you only want to use the facilities for a short period each day. Staff tacitly recognised this by kindly waiving the charge on several occasions. It makes you feel like you're not valued as a guest when it's included for hotel guests but not the apartments. "
