"This place seems almost magical. You drive quite awhile down a secluded windy road and then there it is, this adorable yellow cabin tucked into a great location next to a babbling creek, wildflowers, and amazing mountain views."
"Great location. We had some plumbing issues but the owner was quick to get them fixed. Internet was good. One thing was there was no extra toilet paper or paper towels, and the place needs more silverware. It is a nice house and very comfortable to stay in."
"There are several (3 or 4) vintage travel RVs on the property. We stayed in the Airstream that had a 70s vibe to it. Perfect for two and a pup--we took ours and he loved it! The Airstream is the rental farthest from the road, but if you have a pup who tends to wander and explore, you may want to think about a loooonnnnggg lead you could connect to the deck of the rental. Our guy wanted to stay with us--except when he went to explore the fields and the cows in the fields. There are a couple irrigation canals and our guy happily got in 'em! We had to do some toweling off and brushing him down. The joy our guy had in his eyes was well worth the clean up!
Some people may think twice about a rental here, as it is about a 25-30 min drive to Silver City. We were happy with that because at night, we could sit on the deck with all the lights in the Airstream off and see STARS! Light pollution is minimal and so the night sky was amazing!
Kimber and Steve are incredibly gracious and will answer/help with questions you may have. They have two medium sized pups, Chloe and Charlie, who our Quincy enjoyed getting to know.
Back to the Airstream. Twin beds, a kitchenette with a stove/oven, microwave, decent sized fridge, and all the plates, cooking equipment, and clean up items you would need. There is a small bathroom at one end of the rental. The toilet is on a septic system. There is a shower, but we didn't use it.
At the other end is a couch, chair, TV, and some games. Recommend!!!"

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and both kid- and pet-friendly. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It was the perfect place to disconnect from the world for a little while, slow down, and enjoy a relaxing weekend. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!"
"James and Emer where amazing hosts. We did not know that we would only have electricity for 4 hours and have to share a kitchen at the lodge. This part is very misleading on their site. That said: the property is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. We will be returning, better prepared next time. Propane stove and lantern. "
