"The day time staff was very friendly, night staff not much personality but most people are asleep anyway. Laundry facility is one stackable set so it took me 4 hours to do 4 loads and I ended up until 1:30 am because I waited until everyone else was hopefully done using the machine. Pool was closed for “ season” but it was in the mid 80’s all week so I’m not sure when season ends and the pool opens but mentioning just so warm weather travelers know. Gym has a few things in it that are very outdated and no weights so we ended up running circles outside instead but there is a planet fitness up the road if you have a membership. Beds and pillows were comfy and clean :) Breakfast was decent, multiple hot and cold food choices and a pretty neat warm beverage/coffee digital machine. It was only a few minutes from downtown. We visited Jacob’s Fork and took a day trip up part of the Blue Ridge Parkway and loved the views at the first few overlooks. Also took a trip to Linville Caverns. Everything touristy is about 40mins to 1.5 hours but everything was a decent drive back and forth so the hotel was a good location :) We didn’t have any issues so I give the hotel a 4 star rating and we would stay here again if visiting family again. "

"Bed and pillows were not good. I needed to iron a shirt but the ironing board cover was melted. Shower door did not stay shut. Bathroom door would not stay open. Breakfast selection was not very good. Emergency vehicles blared their horns throughout the evening and night for both nights. "

"The staff were outstanding! However my first night in the room I was put in there were critters inside room including one in my bed definitely was a problem.! I was relocated to another room next morning. Had a lot of problems with room key one day it would work the next it wouldn't so with me getting off work late I would be locked outside til 7am or later til hotel employees began to arrive no free nights were offered even with being locked outside entire night, the one in the lobby used to reach company employees after hours DOES NOT WORK if you don't know someone their personally you will not have a way to communicate with them "

"Breakfast was same everyday. Need more varieties of food. No bananas. The sausage is pork and not labeled for people of Muslim religion or people who don't eat pork. I complained to the kitchen staff of same breakfast everyday. Parking was great and car safe. No problem with staff. "
