"We really enjoyed our stay at this house, and particularly valued the setting--right on the small lake. The only recommendation I'd have is to refresh the beds outside of the master suite's queen. The other mattresses just weren't particularly comfortable, unfortunately. Still, I realize mattresses are a personal taste, etc... Other than this, I'd highly recommend."

"Will and Abbie were great hosts. Check in was very smooth and we had all the info well ahead of our check in date. The house was well stocked and clean and is a great location with excellent views of the lake. We had an issue with wasps or mud daubers building a nest right where you stepped off the dock and Will came over within an hour and killed them also digging the nest out. The only thing to be aware of is if you are pulling a boat backing into the driveway with it is just about impossible without turning around somewhere first and backing down the road from the opposite direction. The road is narrow and there is a culvert on each side of the driveway and a stone wall opposite the driveway on the neighbors property along the edge of the road. Perhaps if you had a smaller tow vehicle you could do it, but I drive a Ram 2500 and the boat is 18' and I could not make the turn. It is not a huge deal because all you have to do is turn around in a neighbors driveway and back down the road from the other direction and it is a non issue. Just pointing this out as it is something to be aware of. We had a great time and would love to come back again in the future!"

"The home was spotless, modern, with like new appliances. The split bdrm plan was very nice for privacy and both bathrooms were fully stocked. The smart tvs in each bedroom were appreciated after the busy days in the community to wind down. The location was very convenient and being on the cul de sac was nice and quiet but close enough to the big lake to hear the boats. It was truly a home away from home"

"We enjoyed our stay at this cozy rustic cabin. We loved watching the deer wondering around the cabin and the community. The host Cindy was very responsive and handled our minor issue as soon as she could.You can tell the owners put thought into the natural stone steps down to the lake but there isn't a hand rail so our family members with knee and balance issues couldn't do the steps themselves. The one bathroom is small and the large sink and shower lip combination makes it difficult to maneuver in the bathroom making it a tripping hazard. The larger bathroom is a great addition but lacks privacy from the people sitting on the deck. I believe Cindy was taking care of this after we left. We had some rainy weather and enjoyed the screened in porch and well stocked games and puzzles. The mattresses are soft and broken in.Beautiful view of the lake and the dock was comfortable and roomy. You can tell the owners are committed to updating and making their property one people will enjoy and want to go back to. We would definitely go back."
