The kitchen is complete with a 6-burner gas range, griddle, Keurig pod style coffeemaker, 2 ovens and utensils making it perfect for the family chef to put together a meal. The master bedroom, located on the main level, has a king size bed, a large bathroom with a jetted tub, tile walk-in shower, and his & her sinks. Also on the main level are two more bedrooms, each with one queen bed.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath with a shower/tub combo. Lastly, head downstairs to find a bedroom with a set of twin bunk beds and 2 twin beds and a bathroom.
Step outside onto the deck to admire the long range views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The yard is big enough for a game of football or frisbee while dinner is cooking. Relax around a fire and enjoy smores and weenie roasts. Or better yet, soak in the 6-seater hot tub after a long day of hiking.

Great views, close to Boone, and enough space for our dogs! We enjoyed our stay, however communication could have been better when a small issue camp up.
Very comfortable and well located. Good scenery around the house
Very comfortable and good. The only little negative was discovery of a dead mouse in the living room. We reported that to the company and got an acknowledgment.
My family had a great time. The large table is perfect for games. The host company was very helpful and friendly. Had some issues with the garbage disposal and it was fixed promptly. The location of the house is close to Boone and other attractions.
Absolutely the perfect house for our friend mini vacation! The house was in a beautiful location. We got to see the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets!
Would recommend for sure. Views were lovely, kitchen well stocked, hot tub in great shape, comfy beds & furniture, very clean. Everything we hoped for!
We loved this property and would recommend it to others. The view was amazing. We loved the privacy of this property and it’s proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock. It is minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and provides a wonderful setting to create priceless memories.
We had a great weekend at the Grandview Getaway. The cabin is stocked with all of the necessities. The space inside is open and easy for family and friends to gather. The views are spectacular and the wrap around porch makes it easy to see the views from all angles.
We loved visiting Grandview Getaway this past weekend while visiting our daughter at App State. The house was well appointed and comfortable for our extended family which included grandparents. It was spacious and everyone enjoyed the location....especially the view!!!! Easy checkin process too!!! Thank you again!!!!
We had a lovely time. The home is beautiful, has spectacular views and is extremely well stocked! There are neighbors who are incredibly friendly. The only thing we would change was the status of the fenced yard (missing boards in a few places) but the rest was wonderful and we are grateful!
The only thing we could not locate lights to get into the hot tub at night. Had a few stinky bugs flying around and spiders. But everything else was outstanding!
Our family had a wonderful stay at the Grandview Getaway. Excellent space for a group. Some highlights for us included the solitude location, large dinning room table, decks for days, hot tub, highly functional kitchen and of course the views. The house definitely feels remote, but you are also not far from Boone and Blowing Rock. All the views and hikes you could want are nearby along the Parkway and State Parks. For some good brew check out Appalachian Mountain Brewery in Boone. They are pet friendly with an ample outdoor area and seating.
Thank you!
Mike
Overall the stay was good. The house was not very clean. There were long black hairs everywhere, in the showers on blankets. No one in our family has long dark hair. Very dusty and cobwebs throughout the house. The downstairs had a bad smell as well. We spent a lot of time seeing the sights during the day. We did enjoy the hot tub as well.
First, make sure to follow the printed directions to get to this property. It can be hard to find and GPS is not accurate (Yes, experience talking!) The property was overall clean but needed some maintenance / deep cleaning. Items like a broken stove door handle, non-working burners, dead bugs in all of the ceiling lights, cobwebs and a dirty hot tub did not give a great first impression. The company was responsive but it still took 3 of our 4 nights to get the hot tub usable which was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin. I would also recommend bringing cookware you may need, we ended up having to go buy baking pans for brownies and the frying pans need to be retired. However, we still managed to have a great time! The beds were very comfy and the views / privacy were amazing! If the hot tub was ready as advertised, I would have given a higher rating for the property.
