We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was clean with great hangout spaces and ample sleeping options for our family. The location was great too. We would definitely return!
Enjoyed our time in Decorah. Lots of hiking fishing and shopping. Mark’s house was a great home base for 6 of us. Plenty of beds and room. Screened in deck with a stream in the back yard was great. Location to the bike trail and trout hatchery were a big plus for us.
The house was very well equipped, I.e., kitchen, bedding, and toiletries!! We all loved the screened porch. The decor throughout the house was beautiful. The location and area was perfect for us! Our host was super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!!👍

Small family reunion
The property accommodates a larger group due to the space. Bathroom space is very limited & inadequate. Outside setting is great. Location is great also. Customer service is inadequate for this rental.
My family, ranging in age from 54-94, stayed at the property while we were in Decorah for a wedding. The place was spacious and fit all of us comfortably. We had a problem with the WiFi and the owner was in constant communication and even came to the house to remedy the situation. He was very friendly and we had everything that we needed to have a wonderful time, which we did.If I’m ever out there again, I’ll be sure to look up this place again.Everyone raved about the accommodations and the amenities.Definitely give this place a try if you’re ever heading this way.
We are a family of 10. Our group included Grandma and Grandpa moms and dads, and four kids, all under the age of three. We love having the fish hatchery and the trails nearby, and really enjoyed the enclosed screen porch and the big yard area! It was also nice to have the two separate living rooms, for when families needed a break or quiet time. Your house is now lovingly known to our grandkids as the fish house! We sure do look forward to returning again!
We stayed for 2 nights in Late September with a group of 6 guys. Was a great homebase for our trip. We especially liked sitting on the porch in the evenings! Looking forward to coming back in the future.
Exceptionally clean, and lots of wonderful gathering space, especially the large porch made a terrific spot for spending time with my siblings and their spouses. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed being in the country and near the fish hatchery but a quick drive to town.
