Renovated charmer in the heart of Decorah’s Park District

This charming craftsman style home is the perfect vacation spot for your family to enjoy all that Decorah and the surrounding area has to offer. This home is located on a quiet street less than a block from Phelps Park and 4 blocks to downtown Decorah. When you first arrive you'll find a large front porch to enjoy coffee from Impact or Mill Street Mocha in the morning, ice cream from Whippy Dip or Sugar Bowl in the afternoon and a Pulpit Rock or Toppling Goliath beer in the evening. The entire home has recently been renovated, including new kitchen and both baths. Three comfortable bedrooms rooms and large bath on the 2nd level. Laundry provided in the basement for your use. Private back yard with fire pit. Off street parking for up to four vehicles.

The location by Phelps Park and within walking distance of downtown Decorah was ideal, and the house was set up perfectly for a group of college friends getting together for a weekend in Decorah.

A great stay!

We had a great stay at this property! Within walking distance to lots of coffee shops. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating on the covered front porch and in the back yard by the firepit. The owners were responsive and so helpful! Thanks for a great stay, we hope to be back soon!

Decorah Getaway

We had a great stay with our young family. The location to Phelps Park and a short drive to many attractions made it perfect for quick trips out and back for nap times. Very quiet neighborhood and amazing work on the renovation while keeping the historic charm.

Lovely home

Lovely older home with a great kitchen and bathroom, worked well for our group of 6 - grandparents, parents and a 2 and 3 year old. Location is good in Decorah, a nice quiet neighborhood close to a beautiful park and close to all the wonderful things Decorah has to offer!Our 3 year old grandson loved the Marvel Match game, we enjoyed playing it on the porch early on Sunday morning while everyone else was asleep! And always nice to have some children's books that are new to the kiddos to enjoy away from home!

Great Family Getaway

The house is freshly updated and the accommodations were perfect for our family with (5) adults. We loved the front porch for gaming, hanging and dining. It is close to the downtown and the area had plenty to do for our four days.
