"I stayed in Room 225, which had a noticeable and unpleasant odor throughout my stay. I brought this to the attention of the front desk; however, I was informed that no alternative rooms were available. While I was provided with a room freshener upon request, my subsequent request for housekeeping to clean the room the following day was unfortunately not fulfilled."

"We voluntarily gave up our room to another guest who ordered, but didn’t receive, a handicapped room. Ours happened to be, so we switched. I suspect we were then put in a room that they hadn’t finished remodeling. The hotel was fine, and the main part of our room was OK. But the showerhead was broken, the bathtub spout was stained, the overhead bathroom fan was hanging down as it might fall, there was paint where it shouldn’t be and lack of paint where there should. The elevator was out, and the stairs up to the third floor were really worn badly and dirty. Staff left bags of linens all over the hallways in the morning so you had to work your way through to walk down the hallway. And finally, the chain lock in the room was installed backward, meaning it would be useless if needed, one screw missing with the needed scree and a cordless drill left on the bathroom counter when we arrived. Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok. Price was ok. Probably not returning. "

"The room key machine was broken, and staff had to escort guests to our rooms during our stay, every time we left the room. The machine had been down 5 days according to staff. That's really not acceptable. A problem is understandable, but 5 days? There were no security checks, staff just asked your room number and walked you there without confirming that is your room. Poor way to handle the situation. "
