"The property is spread out with multiple buildings for the hotel and sets of suites. The grounds include outdoor museum items, walkways, and grassy areas. They were planting more trees the day we were there. There are a fair amount of amenities right on the property including a gift shop (which has groceries for day trips into Death Valley and some camping oriented food and supplies), an ice cream and burgers shop, buffet and finer dining (we used an onsite vendor for a burger cooked on an outdoor grill for our dinner and a cafe for morning coffee and bakery items for breakfast). We did not know before we made our reservation, but this facility is also a sister facility to The Inn at Death Valley, a more expensive facility, so one can use the facility at the Inn as well. It is conveniently located approx 1/2 of the distance between the northern and southern sites in the valley which makes overall touring of the valley easier. The staff were very friendly an helpful. The pool was amazing; it is 4.5 ft at one end and 8 ft at the other, very long and wide, and the water was around 80 deg (we stayed in November, so the warm water was nice for the cool night breeze)."

"The entire experience was both outstanding and unique!!! Owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful (but not intrusive!) They showed us the best place to sit and gaze at night stars, and introduced us to dogs, a goat and a bevy of peacocks over breakfast coffee. The breakfast was hot and specially made for us. It is a strong memory in an incredible vacation!!! We thank them again."

"What an awesome place to stay and close to Death Valley NP. Recently renovated and nicely decorated. There is a downstairs bedroom that would allow two couples to have their own sleeping areas. The kitchen is more than amply stocked and supplied with everything you will need to prepare anything you can think of. Super clean and roomy bathroom as well.While wood fires weren’t allowed at the time, they did have a propane fire pit set up. There is a horseshoe pit, corn hole game and some other games for the kids. We will definitely be staying there on our travels through the area as we do from time to time verses staying in the hotel in Beatty as we’ve done in the past. Definitely a great place to stay!"

"We had an amazing stay at this cabin during our trip to Death Valley. The place is peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the park. At night, the sky is breathtaking, and the cabin is in an ideal spot for stargazing. It truly made the experience unforgettable.The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. It was everything we needed after long days out in nature.Marcus was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond for us and even helped with a couple of last-minute requests, delivering more than we expected. His communication was always fast, friendly, and thoughtful, which made everything smooth from beginning to end.If you are looking for a relaxing desert escape with a host who truly cares, this is the perfect place. "Host was great! Very responsive! The place was just amazing!!! Everything was really clean and felt very cozy! The views were definitely a million dollar views, we stayed there on a new moon so it was really dark and we were able to see billions of stars!!! I wish we could’ve stayed a couple of more nights!! "Very cozy and quiet place. We had a wonderful stay, watching stars late night with barbecue, patio is beautiful and clean with chairs and swing to enjoy the mountain view. Also visited Death Valley which was just 1 hr drive from the home. Misty was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. House was also stocked with all the necessary stuffs in kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Love the place and definitely shall come back with friends to stay longer here. "
