Our stay was so enjoyable. We had a delicious dinner and a yummy breakfast at The Henry Hotel. There were multiple weddings, but the hotel was very quiet! The room was very clean and spacious. All the staff was very friendly. We will be traveling to Detroit multiple times next year and will always stay at the Henry Hotel! We love the art work too!!!
The hotel and facilities are very well maintained. Our room was attractive, comfortable and clean. The hotel is within a few minutes of Dearborn attractions and about 20 minutes from downtown Detroit even without taking the expressway. Staff were friendly and very efficient. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't coffee and tea available in the common area of the hotel. The restaurant manager came to the rescue with a large cup of really great coffee!
The only concern, as with most hotels that offer breakfasts: the people who act like it is a feeding frenzy, allowing children to get their own food. Wasting, making messes. Not fault of the hotel. The room facing a main street was very quiet. Staff at the desk were helpful. Pleasant.
This suburb of Detroit is home to Michigan’s leading tourist attraction, The Henry Ford, a large indoor-outdoor American history museum and entertainment complex named after the famous car manufacturer and inventor of the same name. One-third of Dearborn residents are Arab-Americans. The Islamic Center of America is here, as is the largest mosque in North America–the Dearborn Mosque.
