"We loved staying in this house. We spent a lot of time on the front porch, watching the freighters and ferries on the river. Great location in the village, we could walk to restaurants, Pickleball courts or down to the marina. The dining room is also a very nice feature with lots of windows so you can watch the boats while you’re eating if it’s too cold to eat outside. Lots of activities nearby, including hiking and fishing, as well as visiting Drummond Island and nearby towns like Cedarville. The kitchen was well equipped and thoughtfully stocked with herbs and spices as well as pots, spans and small appliances. We had a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom on the first floor. Both bedrooms on the first floor, had ceiling fans, but the upstairs Bedrooms did not have ceiling fans and they got stuffy even with daytime highs in the mid 70s. It would be nice if there was a bathroom upstairs so people don’t have to come downstairs during the night. Some of us use the bathroom in the basement for showers."
