"Second time staying here. We stayed the first time for our anniversary and thought our kids would love it. So we booked this trip for a family weekend getaway. We again enjoyed the property and our kids did as well. Its private and you feel like your in the middle of no where but your not far from stores. "A quick drive from St Louis and we were happily secluded in nature. Safe and secure with hosts that make sure you have everything you need. Lake views, outdoor seating, nice fire pit, full kitchen and VERY comfy beds for all inside. Caledonia is a great little town nearby. State parks for longer hikes in all directions. Although you can stay put and walk around the lakes on site. So many options for various groups- families or friends alike. Would definitely book again."

"We stayed for a week and had friends and family members coming in and out as we prepared for our son’s wedding. It was a very wonderful time and the house was perfect for our large group. It was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The amenities were nice, especially the large garage/game room, and the trampoline was fun as well. We would definitely stay again. Communication with the host was top-notch and we felt very welcomed!"
