De Bleekersvallei Nature Park
Your own island on an island. You get this feeling as soon as you enter De Bleekersvallei Nature Park. A small energy-neutral park in which the concept of "neighbors" with ten sustainable 6-person holiday homes takes on a completely new meaning. It may be that the winter wren, the little owl or the great spotted woodpecker is your neighbor. Or how about the jagged bat, the ladybug or the peacock eye as a roommate? You can easily find them in the special bird, bat and insect boxes that hang all over our park. The park is just around the corner from the Dunes of Texel National Park with its forests and heaths and a stone's throw from the dunes, beach and sea.

There are ten cottages for six people on the premises (useful if you are booking with more than one family), but you will forget about them as soon as you go to your vacation home. A winding road leads you past green hedges. Not a good line with tight bushes, but a colorful mix of laurel cherry and privet. There is a small playground for the little ones.

All houses are equipped with a double bathtub, a Sunshower XL, showers (with or without massage heads) and a sauna. The colors of the island air, the dunes and the sun can be found in the decoration of the houses. The houses have a blue, green or yellow interior. This first ecologically responsible Texel park is ideal for nature lovers and completely car-free. Fine and safe for the little ones. You bring the luggage to your holiday home with a cart. There are 4 charging stations for cars in the central car park and there are also enough charging stations for your electric bike. Our new holiday homes (apartments from the beginning of July 2020) are energy neutral thanks to heat pumps and PV modules.

The pleasant seaside resort De Koog is a 10-minute walk away and offers a variety of dining options and a large number of shops. The subtropical swimming paradise Calluna and seal sanctuary as well as the Ecomare museum can also be reached on foot in 10 minutes. And of course not to forget Strandpaal 17, where you can enjoy a drink after a long walk on the beach or in the dunes.
