Very clean and updated hotel. The Staff was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the dining options, and in house conveniences (marketplace store, indoor dining and lounge, and poolside dining with an ocean view. There are several fire pits for evenings at poolside and making s’mores (kits provided at the front desk), and a poolside tiki hut that serves Spirits.
I gave 4 of 5 stars because my room’s phone did not work, and I reported it and waited for maintenance to show, but they never came. I was a bit annoyed, because I had a dog with me and needed to be present for maintenance. There is a slight inconvenience having to get on the elevator to floors 3 or 5 to access the ice machines. There is no microwave in the rooms, but there is one in the Marketplace store and one in the lobby. There are mini refrigerators in the rooms, and refillable bottles to access the water machines throughout the hotel.
I stayed in a Cabana Rm (102) near the hot tub, and children were using it unsupervised as a baby pool. There’s no enforcement of the “Must be 17 y.o.” I also had to request Rm svc by 3pm, because they hadn’t been there. Someone did come within 30 mins. My stay was after the Spring break crowd, so the hotel was not crowded. I would absolutely stay again.
