It was nice- a little outdated. Breakfast was sad- just prepackaged snacks and coffee/juice. Not much for a seating area. Staff was the NICEST! All super friendly and helpful, we enjoyed their hospitality.

I was in a room that was in between the elevators. All I heard all night was knocking and banging, and the movement of the elevators and the opening and closing of the elevator doors. Worst experience at trying to get some rest after a long day. The baseboards in the bathroom were filthy disgusting dirty.

Kitchenette was not clean, old and rusty appliances. Pool and hit full of sand. Never saw it cleaned. Gate to pull not locked and lots of kids jumping in ocean then run to jump in pool and hot tubs with no supervision of adults. Forcing adults to leave from disruptiveness. Battery died on our door and couldn’t get in.

Thanks for your feedback Maggie. Absolutely no complaints were made during your stay. If there was an issue, we would have been more than happy to accomodate you. Our free continental breakfast consists of yogurt, pop tarts, fruit cups, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, milk, juice and coffee.

I wish we had a hot breakfast Andres. That's where I would be all morning lol. We do have a free continental breakfast though.

The desk staff were very nice. The view from our room was amazing. There is plenty of free parking. That's all that was good. It's filthy, old, the bathroom is disgusting, the banister going down the steep concrete stairs to the beach was about to come out of the wall. They said there wasn't any breakfast items because they were busy that week & went through all the food. Are there no stores in Daytona?? I won't stay there again & do not recommend it.

Excellent stay. My sister and I had a ball! It’s right on the beach. The city view was incredible! We watched the sun set over the water on the opposite side of the beach. The staff and management were helpful! When I think of Emerald Shores I think of family! We will certainly be back! Thank you for our short break!

This property has a beautiful ocean view. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. The property has a private access to the beach. The pool was large and the hot tub was available. The room was large as was the bathroom. The furniture was tired and worn, but adequate. The staff is wonderful, helpful, courteous, and friendly.

I love the beach and the hotel is right on the beach, the only thing I did not like about the area is that there were some weird men hanging around the building and recording these young girls on the beach which was quite disturbing. The area itself is nice but a lot of shady people

This hotel was very dirty & unsanitary. The towel’s smelt like they were used, I found A bug in the bed and had very severe rashes throughout my body after it bit me (I have proof), the bathroom was not clean, the AC did not work and the room was very humid. The pool was filled with bugs, plastic, leaves, etc. I was Rushed to the hospital because after I went to the pool I got a virus and I started throwing up blood while my stomach was in such bad pain and had an ear infection from the pool water, I also had a very high fever & sore throat. After that, I went to Halifax hospital on the 17th & they gave me medicine and I have the report. We ended up leaving the hotel early so I need my money back ASAP. I do not recommend this place. I have proof for everything I’m saying and I need a refund now. I have my medical report for me and my husband from Halifax as well. Till now I’m taking a lot of medicine for the pain I’m in bc of the virus that I received from that pool. Even my husband. My kids were having stomach aches as well.

While I appreciate your feedback, there is absolutely no truth to this review. The pool was cleaned the entire length of your stay. The AC was and is working just fine. No complaints were made during your whole stay. Many people swam in the pool with no ill effects. Since you say your whole family was feeling sick, there is a very good chance you caught the virus before you even checked in. Our records show you never left early during your 5 night stay.

Dollar for dollar, this maybe the best value for lodging I've ever encountered. Great staff, quiet room with comfortable bed, and right on the beach. Absolutely worth every penny.

Took my two young children to this property for a 3 night stay. After a minor problem with our room on the 1st night, Trish was wonderful and upgraded our room to one with a beautiful view for the rest of our stay and there were no further issues. The entire staff was great the entire time. Hoping we can come back and stay again soon.

Nice area, the property looks okay for the most part, my room looked clean except for one of the pillows which had hair left on it from the previous guests..The AC wasn’t good and the water in the toilet took forever to go down when flushed.

We had to make a last-minute change for a reservation during Daytona bite week so options were limited. We felt this is a great location and it being right on the ocean. We felt that the front staff were super nice. Typical dated small Daytona hotel and pretty basic. The beds were comfortable, but the overall condition of the hotel could have been cleaner.

Do not expect much. Had to change my original room the air conditioning was not cooling. Second room was ok. Refrigerator needed defrosting, electrical plugs were hard to come by. This is the kind of place you stay if you just need a bed and a shower.
