The second bed room smelled like mold !

I didn’t have much time to report it because I was so busy but the room smelled so bad it we had to shut the door

We had to contact VRBO directly since we didn't hear from the host yet at 10:00am and we were leaving at 11:00am the day of our stay. I sent the host several messages via the VRBO app and basically got no communication of any kind. VRBO support contacted the host directly and said he had an hour to reply, or we would be issued a refund and a replacement rental. We heard back roughly 30 minutes later from the host and he informed us he was on a plane and couldn't respond to my inquiries. They then informed us that the rental wasn't available due to a plumbing issue and offered us another rental. The new rental which we were told was an upgrade, only had one bedroom and fewer amenities. We initially had 2 bedrooms. So one of the guests had to sleep on a small old sofa sleeper. The new rental also did not have enough towels, and no WI-FI. I appreciate that the host found us a replacement rental, but I felt it wasn't as accommodating, or convenient as our original rental adding un-wanted stress to our trip.

A nicely decorated sham!

This property is very nicely decorated. But you definitely discover all of its inadequacies once you get inside. The shower is so small that you can’t turn around in it without bumping into a wall. The stove and the refrigerator are so close next to each other that, if you can’t open the oven door all the way(making it almost impossible to use the oven. There wasn’t any cleaning supplies in the unit and once I spoke with the owner, he sent over bleach and fabuloso and five garbage bags! I literally had to beg for paper towels to brought as well. The listing also doesn’t tell you that parking is very close to an alley that isn’t well lit. The lights outside of the property flicker and are quite dim,. I guess supposedly because a hospital isn’t far from the property it’s supposed to be a safe place to stay, according to the owner. All in all I wouldn’t stay again nor would I recommend anyone I know to stay.
