"This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!"

"Likeable funky Victorian styling. Creaky floors added ambience. The huge bathroom had a bath with hand shower, bath leaked. The basin had serious cracks. Great Bistro downstairs."

"Very pet friendly with dog bowls set out in foyer for our arrival. Our one-year-old kelpie loved the fenced yard doing lots of zoomies everyday. The picket fence is only about 1m high but kept our dog in. Great stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Very comfy beds. Lovely accomodating hosts."

"Lovely stay in a clean home with charming old-era character. The lounge and dining areas easily fit our group of 11. The bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean. Great location with easy walking distance to shops and market. "

"We really enjoyed the cottage. Comfortable, clean, well furnished with all we needed.However, it is at the top of a hill, so “a few minutes walk to the town centre” turned into a slow haul for anyone pushing a pram or in less good health on the way back up the hill. Stayz really should make that clear.And be careful with the shower controls. Very sensitive."
