Good spot with all you need

We stayed at this villa over a long weekend and while we didn't spend much time there it has everything you need. We stayed in the elm suite, which was cute if a little on the cosy/dark side from what we expected. Welcome hamper a nice touch, but if you want outside space don't stay in the elm, stay in one of the others. On arrival serious chemical smell but the place was very clean!

Clean, great location right near mineral springs and forests. Lovely spacious space. Comfortable bed. Great that the sofa bed was prepared and all ready for us to use as well. Absolutely lovely veranda lines with lavender. Nice to have the welcome pack. Loved our stay here! Highly recommend!

A quick break in Hepburn Springs.

We had a comfortable stay at Villas on Main. The villa was clean and comfortable and well equipped. We were disappointed that uncollected laundry was left outside and not collected. We were advised on the afternoon of arrival that the laundry service was running late and would be collected later in the day. It remained uncollected by the next day and the management was advised. It was stored away overnight and put out again for collection the next day. Unfortunately the uncollected laundry remained outside our villa for the rest of our stay, a little disappointing. The location of the villa is very good with cafes, bars, restaurants and spas within easy walking distance.

Our Stay

Oven left dirty from previous guests. The rest of studio was very clean so this obviously got missed. Bed described as King; however, was 2 x singles placed together with King bedding. Very uncomfortable. Heater was on and studio lovely & warm for our arrival which was appreciated.

Ideal getaway!

What a lovely place to stay for a few days! Beautifully presented and well appointed with all you need for a relaxing stay. The most comfortable bed I have encountered away from home and importantly: warmth!! Generous heating choices much appreciated in our Victorian winter - overall, highly recommended.

cramped space that looks like the property's old garden shed has been turned into a visitor's getaway, nicely done though. the first night we had ants all over the kitchen bench etc but that was ok as we sprayed the supplied bug spray and then cleaned it up. we tried to use the spa but the water would not drain properly and was slowly filling up the tub. eventually it did drain out, but not before a whole lot of bugs and silverfish etc had washed up thru the drain. this sort of thru a spanner in the feelgood of having a spa. utensil draw was dirty from previous visitors. the toilet button stuck sometime.

Lovely cottage style stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of Daylesford. A very short walk from Hepburn Regional Park and some great restaurants. Perfect way to relax!

great place to stay!

There was a good size spa in the villa and the welcome pack was from local producers. It was lovely especially the fudge!! Good area for walks and to drive around. Quirky shops/galleries made it more interesting. Great place to stay!!

Loved the little cosy villa, it was furnished tastefully. Cooking facilities were all good, and clean as well. Close to the Mineral springs. Villa was quite secure, we didnt have WiFi in the premises. We went to the boat house, for brekky and the winery was also close within 20 minutes, lots of shopping in the city area during the day.

My wife and I stayed at the Elm Studio on Monday and Tuesday night. We enjoyed Hepburn Springs and the surrounding areas very much. On arrival at the villa we were pleased with the cleanliness, modern look of the villa and its appointments. However, after being in the villa a short while we found a number of maintenance issues which we would like to point out: 1. Bathroom light globe not working, 2. Toilet seat loose, 3. Shower screen door catches on top crossbar when opened or closed, 4. Door to bathroom very hard to open or close 5. Kitchen lights, one globe out but periodically flashes on, suggest an electrical connection problem rather than the globe, Most disappointing of all was no internet. After my phone call to you left as a recorded message a lady turned up and together we restarted the router and modem. However, the white plastic dome like saucer sitting on top of the equipment, went from yellow to green (spa villas came up on my iPad, then went off) it then started to flash on and off. So I strongly suspect faulty equipment rather than Internet in the country being problematic. So, a nice place to stay in the future if maintenance is carried out and Internet fixed.

Beautiful experience

my partner and I enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to make sure we make it a point to say thank you very much for the lovely accommodation. we love the place the moment we stepped into the house. The size was perfect, the breakfast box was an extremely sweet gesture, the collection of DVDs is amazing. The spa bath luxurious. Everything was clean and comfortable. We also met the lady who tidies the house as we check out and she is lovely! Thank you, we will certainly be back again

We stayed at the elm villa, however when we got there we didn't know where to go and reception was no where except an answering machine, so we had to guess our way to our villa, apart from the no service the place and the goodies box was simply amazing, and we used the dvd collection perfectly, location was good as it was a few mins away from Daylesford and around the corner from the bath house. Overall the experience was great however things to work on were. Customer service, kitchen light was flicking and spa tap was broken, apart from that was a great place, but kindly inform customers where to go upon checking in.

Great base to explore Daylesford/Hepburn Springs

We stayed in Elm Villa and while it's quite small the perfect location more than made up for what it lacked in space. The villa was clean and modern with lots of little added extras which were very much appreciated. The cloud-top bed was heaven! The spa bath was divine - don't forget to pack some spa bubble bath! Red Star and Moor Please great for breakfast and the Farmers Arms do a great dinner. For a special treat try The Lake House. Enjoy.

Cosy and Comfortable Hepburn Springs Villa

From the moment we arrived at The Elm Studio we found it warm and inviting. We had all the comforts of home, and as the bed suited us perfectly we slept like babies. The decor was fresh and aesthetically pleasing and was basically the perfect home base, especially as it was positioned in the heart of the town. We wouldn't hesitate staying there again.
