The space
Built circa 1860, this elegant historic house stands proudly in the historic church precinct, weaving together rich history, design, and a rare sense of stature. This is not merely a house; it is a meticulously preserved estate, perfectly suited for a luxury group retreat or large family escape.
Our Country House pays homage to our First Peoples & the rich heritage of Swiss Italian migrants who once settled in this breathtaking region.
Mount Stuart House has been curated to offer grand yet inviting spaces for shared escape and conversation. The expansive layout offers exceptional comfort and flexibility.
The house features four beautifully proportioned bedrooms, each complete with its own ensuite bathroom, providing space and privacy for every guest.
Gather in the formal lounge or separate library, both featuring magnificent open fireplaces. The home is kept perfectly cosy with premium hydronic heating throughout.
Our kitchen is a dream for group catering, equally suited to intimate dinners or larger, celebratory gatherings.
