About this property
Lakeside Suite 1 + Lakeside Retreat + Spa Bath
Summary:
Discover "Lakeside Suite 1" one of four lakeside apartments created for guests seeking a refined blend of comfort, privacy and timeless style. These lakeside escapes are perfectly suited to couples or solo travellers looking to slow down and enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of spa country.
The Space:
Positioned on the peaceful edge of Lake Daylesford, the suites enjoy sweeping views across the still waters and the surrounding natural landscape. The setting feels wonderfully secluded and calm, yet you’re only moments from the heart of Daylesford, offering the perfect balance of lakeside tranquillity and township convenience.
From the moment you arrive, the considered design and convenience of Lakeside Suites is evident. Fully self-contained and well appointed upstairs suite features a generous bedroom with a king bed and a private Juliette balcony - an intimate space to let in the fresh air and take in the peaceful surrounds.
The spacious bathroom has been designed with relaxation in mind, featuring an indoor spa bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet. It’s an inviting retreat for long, indulgent soaks after a day spent wandering the region’s mineral springs, cafés and galleries.
The open-plan living area is warm, comfortable and welcoming, centred around a gas coal fire and complemented by split-system heating and cooling for year-round comfort. A large smart TV and fully equipped kitchen make it easy to settle in, whether you’re enjoying a quiet night in or a leisurely morning start.
Step out onto the rear balcony and take in some of the most picturesque lake views Daylesford has to offer. It’s the ideal spot for a slow morning coffee, a long lunch in the sunshine, or a relaxed evening drink as the light softens over the water.
The Neighborhood:
Beyond ‘Lakeside Suites’’ is the welcoming township of Daylesford & Hepburn Springs, renowned for its mineral springs, rejuvenating spas, and natural allure. Explore nearby attractions, including, The Daylesford Convent, Daylesford Botanical Gardens, Cliffy’s Emporium, The Daylesford Sunday Markets, Wombat Hill House, Bistro Terroir, Kadota, Lake Daylesford and many more. Explore Vincent St, the Mill Markets and surrounds where an array of cafes, restaurants, shops, and galleries await.
Daylesford and the surrounding region has long been considered a special place of healing, relaxation and indulgence. Nestled at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, the region is most famously known for its natural mineral springs and is home to some of the best restaurants, cafe’s, galleries, wineries and distilleries regional Victoria has to offer.

Exploring the region is a breeze, thanks to the well-connected network of country roads. Opting for self-driving is highly recommended as it provides the utmost flexibility and convenience. Please always drive to the road conditions and plan ahead, it’s not unusual to encounter unsealed roads and wildlife so please drive with caution.

We always come back to this lovely property overlooking the lake. Plenty of space with all the amenities and close to everything.
We always stay at this property. It is always clean with plenty of space and so beautifully located on the lake. The best views from the balcony.
Love this place x
We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside suite. The accommodation was exactly as described, clean, spacious and comfortable. It was relaxing sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake. Will come again.
Wonderful two night stay. Wet and cold outside and it was nice and warm inside with central heating, coal gas fireplace and electric blankets . Beautiful views of the lake from balcony.
Lovely place and very enjoyable.
Please ask host to check TV in bedroom connection. Could not get a signal and hence unable to watch. Living area TV worked ok.

Seeking some type of compensation for our disappointing recent stay - - TV in bedroom had no signal. Sam mentioned that it works best with chromecast but we don’t know how to do that with our phones- The TV in the lounge room had only 1 channel that worked. All other channels didn’t work or were glitching - The music was glitching when we walked in as it was coming from the lounge room TV- No room light in bedroom- Only 1 lamp works in bedroom - Property smelt musty- Curtain in bedroom had a big brown stain on it- Main Entrance was extremely hard to get into as the mat which was on the other side of the door had lifted and was stopping us from opening it. Force needed to be used- I needed to pop to the pharmacy in the evening to get a prescription made up for I’m Mum who has stage 4 bowel cancer and I had to take the one key with me which left her in the dark as she was asleep so didn’t want to wake her on my return for her to come down the stairs to open the door. - No throw blankets in the lounge room to keep warm.
Great Lake views, everything you need, walking distance to The Lake House.
Loved the place, had everything we needed, fireplace, balcony with Lake View, big bathroom, and bedroom, great living space, warm and cosey, close to The Lake House and Lake access. A short walk to the town... highly recomend
Location along the lake is a real plus. Unit inside maybe getting a little tired but still very comfortable. HWS was off one morning (electrical switch in the end) which meant no showers happened. Overall an enjoyable experience.
A perfect getaway for a cold winters weekend. The apartment was cosy and quiet, with the open gas fireplace perfect for keeping toasty warm. Would not hesitate to recommend and can’t wait to return.
