"Great communication from the get go! Kept in touch through text messages! Even asked if we wanted any Christmas decorations! (We went dec 21-24)Great Cabin for a multi generational family getaway. Teens could spend time downstairs w all the games while we adulted up stairs. Cooked 3 dinners, had everything we needed!!! We would bring foil, zip lock bags and more togo containers next trip! Had lots of blankets of all warmth through out the house, which was great! We had 2 dogs w us and the cabin was perfect for them. Little grassy area out front where they could play. Just a heads up, there is no typical charcoal/gas grill, it is a blackstone grill. Some may not be used to using that type. Also, it needs a good scrub! We just put foil down and cooked steaks on top of the tin foil. You will see some stink bugs, but if you've been in the woodsy area, you know thats extremely typical for a wood cabin. Highly recommend!!! Everyone from 8 yrs- 70 yrs loved it!"

"Host was welcoming with instructions and a goody bag and responded if we had an issue. The cabin is in a beautiful setting high atop Bear Mountain. Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. We had awesome family time during the holidays. If I could make a suggestion, it would be that the cabin have type of Christmas decorations when rented during the holiday season. We actually went to the local DG and bought decorations to decorate the cabin. Also, I would gladly have washed our towels and sheets before leaving, but I couldn’t find any laundry detergent. Overall, we had an amazing family holiday trip!"

"The Gem is not only clean and spacious but includes everything for our family to enjoy a mountain getaway. The kitchen was well equipped for large meals. The bed were very comfortable and the endless amenities made our stay perfect. The game room, the hot tub, the yard and views were amazing! We would highly recommend the property! We enjoyed all the mountains had to offer and then relaxed indoors around the fireplace!!! Wonderful hosts and beautiful home!!"
