There was no proactive contact from the host, and when we finally did receive a response, the tone felt unnecessarily curt. Check-in and check-out details were not provided as promised; we had to follow up ourselves to receive that information.The kitchen is only minimally stocked, with very few tools and towels, so be sure to bring your own if you plan to cook. Also, while the listing indicated the property is pet-friendly, there was no mention of the additional pet fee. A change in our plans meant we brought our dog, but the unexpected cost was significant and would have affected our decision had we known in advance.Overall, it's a lovely home in a good location, but better communication and clearer information in the listing would have made our stay more seamless."
