It is in the center of David and you can walk to the bank, go to restaurant and shopping around everything is close to the hotel.

The room was super clean and comfortable AND fixed with no holes in walls, great water pressure and HOT water, no missing tiles, etc. The bed also was SUPER comfortable, so room was a great home away from home. I didn't like that the staff wasn't fully accommodating. They were adequate and not nasty in any way, but didn't try at all to help when I had a migraine and needed ice for my head, but the restaurant was closed. Also, they were away from the desk alot so couldn't provide service during those moments. Overall, it was a great place to stay and also is in the middle of town so is close to everything.

Front desk didn’t greet us at any point of trip, which was a bit disappointing. But the hotel was safe and clean. It was well located, just a few blocks from bus terminal, shopping, and restaurants.

the restaurant is excellent, the rooms were cleans everything was perfect, the bed a bit small for me but was OK(I'm 5.9'), the location is a few minutes from the bus terminal, 100% recommended.

It was an extraordinary experience while I was staying at the hotel the cleaning lady was very helpful & polite & having foodservice was great they was great at their service to me. The staff also was very helpful to me everytime I needed it anything there they was very polite & extremely helpful to me.

The onsite parking was very nice. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion furnished in the bathroom. Rates were very reasonable and on-site restaurant had good service and good food.

The truth at hotel Alcalá
Good budget hotel in the middle of the shopping areas in David. This can be the base when exploring surrounding places like Boquete or the beach town. Breakfast is a la carte and not included in the price.Choices for breakfast very limited; beds are hard. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Great and friendly staff. Beside shopping, nothing much to do in David. Good luck

Another nice visit to a Hotel Alcala
I always enjoy the Alcalá. You know what to expect: nice staff, clean areas and rooms, very nice restaurant and wait staff. It is very easy to get a taxi outside the door. Hotel also has secure parking.

A wee bit pricey for what you get.
Maybe I got spoiled in Panama city, because for the same price over there, I got way bigger room, and great breakfast. Here, the room is small, there is no breakfast. There is a menu in the room for the restaurant (not room service, just a regular walk in menu), seems expensive to me, for example, chicken fried rice was $6.75. breakfast was fried eggs, toast, $4.50. I got a banana down the street for .25 This place is a no frills place and got the job done, as we were in transit and just needed 1 night here.
