Lovely antebellum house in beautifully maintained grounds. The house has furniture from the period but has also been modernised to ensure your comfort. Loved the shared breakfast table where we met people from around the world. Enjoyed the tour of the house given by our host. It is 16 miles outside of Natchez, so had to drive into town for dinner. Host recommended excellent venues for this.

Lovely pool and lots of outdoor spaces to relax.
Good room slept well nice compact bathroom.
Didnt meet host.
Average breakfast at Monmouth.which is a lovely stately home. Dont have the french toast basically fried bread with what didnt look like cream cheese in between and dusted with powdered sugar no fruit as you would usually have - wasnt good!

Lovely historic home. The bedding was soooo comfortable, best sleep in ages. Be aware all bedrooms are up steep stairs. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and breakfast very tasty.

Unfortunately we only had one night in this magnificent residence it was superb. My only criticism is of the check in staff. We arrived early and adked if we could leave our bags (travelling from overseas we had big bags) the staff Ignored our request and just kept saying check in was at 3- no help at all. They also failed to tell us anything about the property ie that we could wander through the house have coffee etc etc. In fact they didnt give us any info we had to ask about everything. For...

We only stayed here one night on our way down to New Orleans and it was perfect. The staff were so nice and told us all about the things we should while we were there. Jessica was at the front counter and was very welcoming and friendly. Great place to stop in.
