"This is our second stay here as we choose to sleepover when we have very early morning flights. Love the convenient location to the terminal for an early flight and the restaurant has some decent options. On both of our stays, we enjoyed hanging out in front of the indoor fireplace/lounging area and reading our books after dinner. The rooms have been very clean and the beds super comfortable. Five pillows is a bonus, but sure wish they were larger cuz they are quite small. The restaurant, Bar 509, is nicely laid out. Warm and cozy, yet receives great light from the bank of windows. My husband had delicious burgers on both stays, while I had wings the first time and a BLT last night (ate half, and had the second half for breakfast!). All the food has been freshly made, hot, and delicious (but order your fries extra crispy!). I only have two things that drop my rating. 1. Upon arrival, the common areas (lobby, steps up to rooms, and room corridor) were all in desperate need of vacuuming. Not a great first impression. 2. The wait staff at Bar 509 are very kind and joyful, but attention to service is lacking. On both visits, we have had to wait 10+ minutes to have a server approach our table. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when the need arises."

"The house was very clean. It was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. The view of the lake was amazing! Short walk to the beach. Communicating with the host was easy and she replied right away. The yard is rather small but the large deck made up for that. I would stay here again!"

"When we got there the code did not work for the front door. It took a few hours before the owner got back to us. Fortunately, one of the other doors was unlocked. There were a few electrical issues to be looked at. One of the fixtures in the kitchen was out. Almost all of the other light fixtures needed more bulbs. There is a missing plate on the refrigerator outlet. The dishwasher is not connected to the cabinet and so it fell out whenever we pulled the drawer out. The living room, bathroom, bedrooms and downstairs were good. The downstairs door needs to be replaced because you can't leave the house and have it locked. We ran out of garbage bags and toilet paper, but the caretaker came with more of these. I don't think that they were ready for us, most likely being the first group to rent it this year.Overall, the owner needs to get more of his projects done before he lists it again. The other family in our group stayed at a much newer home and this house is being rented at too high of a price point for it's current condition."

"Such a beautiful property...it was peaceful with beautiful views, wildlife and great friendly neighbors. The host had outstanding and timely communication...all of the amenities were as advertised. The WIFI was out but the host made generous accommodations to compensate...it did allow us to disconnect more which was a welcome surprise...will be come back in the future and recommend it to our friends "
