The staff was 1st class, accommodating at every opportunity. The hotel was very clean and kept up well. Restaurant was really good as well.
The concept of utilizing reusable shipping containers was very good as well as an excellent alternative to security.
Although the place looks decent but could have improve in maintenance the staff was accommodating and friendly. The service was exceptional we actually left something valuable behind and they called us to inform we were surprised there are still honest and kind people.

Not worthy
The hotel is made of container, soundproof is bad, toilet is small and no space for personal kits. Room and bed is comfortable and big enough. Also clean room, but no Aircon for hallway, nearby us not convenient for dinner and shopping.breakfast is poor, just very few foods served.
The highlight of the stay was the room cleaning service, always helpful and responsive. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are in need of fixing and upgrading, in one room no hot water, the location is noisy, the staff even though they're trying to help can't help. The restaurant served cold eggs for breakfast. To top it all, droppings in the bathroom and on the desk were identified by the staff as mouse droppings.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
I really enjoyed the VERY nice staff of the Hotel and the adjoining cafe. I was made to feel welcome. The room was large and the bed comfortable. A wardrobe was available to hang clothes, however, there were no hangers. The Wifi was basically non-existent. This was very frustrating for a week-long stay. The bathroom sink leaked onto the floor. I had ZERO room housekeeping during my week there except once when I had to personally ask for more towels etc. The AC was quiet and worked very well. I think the Madeline has seen better days.
Very difficult to find since street name change
Upon arrival only one cup in room and no clothes hangers
Restaurant not accommodating at all for vegan needs only after repeated requests was give a few slices of onion, tomatoe and cucumber
Penalties for early check in and check out ridiculous
I’m 69 and check in and out of 100’s closer to 1000 rooms and was never charged for early check in or check out really ridiculous
I have never experienced so much incompetence, booked and paid for 2 nights checked out after the first night. Not bothered about a refund for the second night just glad to escape, so many problems at the hotel it was unbelievable. The final straw was the breakfast scenario, if you have juice you can't have coffee! Bought a coffee 150 peso and told to wait 20mins for change from a 500.
The hotel, by appearance is very appealing. The staff, courteous and most accomodating. Our room spacious and always kept clean. The art adorning the walls, wonderful. It is the absence of attention to detail that derailed what should have been a great stay at a fairly new and very tastefully decorated "boutique hotel."
The bath mat left dirty and tattered. No hooks in the bathroom where on can hang clothes or bathrobes. The room service menu says mineral water, it is not. The internet not working until we asked. Sign in was sometimes problematic. Strength was problematic for streaming. The television never worked properly. Finally we were asked if we wanted to change rooms, the night before we were to leave.
This is not a family friendly hotel. Children under a height of three need to be watched. Railings have gaps wide enough for toddlers to get through. The fall can be three stories. On the roof deck there is no gate to the fire escape.
The food was good. Filipino and American. We did room service a lot. Their happy hour pizza special (a two for the price of one offer) was nice and the pizza tasty. The breakfast buffet was changed to an ala cart menu our second day. Thanks to them for comping our toddlers breakfast. There is no children's menu.
The roof deck and bar is a nice escape. Quiet with trees at the back of the property. The late morning and early evening breezes made it a wonderful place to sit. Plus there was never anyone there.
Overall stay was great; restroom was a little bit stinky (panghi) but overall the beds were very comfortable and room was very clean with lots of drawers. Highly recommended😊
Excellent service, nice place to stay while you there. Hospitality and services all good. Very nice people there. I will re book again when i go back there. The food is good , room service food cook when you order. Nice environment to be in, felt safe the whole time i was there.
The hotel was quite astonishing in a refreshing way. Everything was provided for and the service was very satisfactory. Wifi was good and I had several meetings in the restaurant. The roof deck was a godsend after a long day's work. The only negative was the difficulty to find transportation. I think the hotel should make arrangements for taxis to be available on call.
