"Staff were welcoming, property itself was fairly run down carpets could have been vacuumed, windows had to be propped open and some had metal straps across to prevent opening due to rot, power shower was cold and just a trickle lucky was only one night stay as i would have left."

The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. "A wonderful restoration of an old hotel that has kept all the grandeur while updating for all of the modern conveniences. The staff was our favorite part, they were all super nice and helpful from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant.
Twin room was very spacious and beds comfortable, the sound proofing between rooms was the only thing that was anything less than 10 but the noisemaker on my phone was all that was needed to drown out any noises.
