Disappointment in Datong

The staff did not speak English, so it was difficult to communicate with them. The carpeting in the room was filthy. The air conditioning didn't work and the room was very stuffy. The window didn't open wide enough to get any kind of a breeze in the room. The mattress was quite hard as were the pillows. I was very disappointed in the accommodations.
