Great location and accessibility

Staying at the Villa Alessandra is strictly okay. The single room is TINY. You have to walk sideways to get around the bed. If you ask for a room with a normal amount of space around the bed there's a surcharge. You can't access the closet easily because of the cramped space. Every time my room was turned over, nobody bothered to bring in another bottle of water. I have never been in a hotel which doesn't give you a bottle of water with every turnover and it's something you have to ask for. Which I had to do, repeatedly with varying results. The next and more serious charge- one day I came back to my room door slightly ajar. I thought somebody was still cleaning, but whoever they were had neglected to safeguard my privacy and my belongings when they didn't bother to do the bare minimum and close the door. As a solo female traveler I didn't enjoy that experience. Finally, although I paid for an AC room the AC never worked. The people at reception "Explained" how it worked but never bothered to come upstairs to try to address the problem where it was. In fact one of them told me to "open a window". I would rate this at 2.5 if I could. Only go here if you can't afford elsewhere.

Stayed here with my family and overall it's in a good location but this is an apartment NOT a hotel so there is no real service even for france standards. Expect to pay additional for any requests like towels and cleaning. The check-in process can also be a challenge unless there is staff there to help. The rooms are okay size with small kitchenette. The A/C worked very well which was great for the hot days. Easy to walk to Montmartre.

Unsafe shower, lift did not work. Very difficult to navigate through the hallway with luggage.

We only stayed one night but the location is great and very walkable if you are ok with hills. The Sacred hearts Basilica is a 10 min walk uphill. At your door step are many restaurant options. We stayed on the first floor above the cosmetic shop below. Although our room faced the Main Street with surrounded by restaurants our unit was quiet. The one bedroom apart was spacious with a great layout. The cabinets were stocked with dishes and pots for cooking, large fridge and washing machine. Didn’t see a dishwasher which wasn’t a big deal for me. Would stay here again and recommend to others. There isn’t a lobby/door person to greet you so when you arrive you need to buzz the main office. Have their phone number handy as I had to call to be let in. Once you are checked in they give you a code so you can come and go during your stay.
