"The place is app 15 minutes drive from the fort and the area is rather rural. The hotel has no restaurant and it is quite dirty. Especially the pool. The owners are very sweet and sericeminded but dont speak English. But they help you with everything. Unfortunately you CANNOT pay by card. That meant the owner spent the mirning driving me from ATM to ATM in order to gather enough cash to pay. Ridicilous! "

"This is truly a little gem! A fairly newly opened hotel, a small hotel of 5 rooms with personal charm. The staff mentioned that the plan is to complete the construction and add another 5 rooms. Located above a quiet restaurant in a very quiet area just outside Hikkaduwa, right on the beach so the waves and the beach are your table neighbors at breakfast. "Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! "
