Fantastic Cabin!

The cabin has everything you need to just stay in the mountains and enjoy the mountains! Plenty of room, great game room and an awesome fire pit! Can’t say enough good things about it. This is my 5 or 6th time staying here and i won’t stay anywhere else.

This place is amazing

It had everything you could want for a mountain getaway. The house was beautiful, the movie room was amazing. All the furniture was extremely comfortable, and unlike most places the mattresses were top notch. Whether you were indoors or outdoors, it was extremely relaxing.

Great Cabin!

Great private location with a beautiful mountain view and our own dock. Made it easy to keep the kids entertained on our cabin days. Close enough to places like Knoxville, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg that we could take a day trip there. We had a wonderful time!

We had a terrific time at your cabin! The decor is just amazing as were the mountain views. We visited the Douglas Dam and found a few nearby trails to hike. No bears spotted (which was really ok with us) but we did have a bald eagle fly over us while we were near the water. Really cool! We'd love to visit again sometime.

Absolutely best place in the Smokies!

Places like these actually do exist! This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Property management responded instantly, the cabin was super clean, and we felt warm and welcomed as soon as we entered. Views are breathtaking. There’s not one bad thing I can say about it. We plan to make this a yearly visit as we enjoyed ourselves so much!

Stayed with my family, including ages 11, 9, 2, for a back to school weekend getaway last weekend. So glad we picked Tranquility Cove Lodge! Well appointed with all the modern amenities and conveniences, including sauna and hot tub, putdoor fire pit, pool table, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Well decorated with antique signs, fun blasts from the past and hunting lodge style furry friends throughout the space. From sunsets and s'mores to coffee on the deck at sunrise, plenty to do and take in!

Amazing house!

The house is very private, and very personalized and well maintained. We saw new details almost everyday that we'd missed previously. The dock, which had two adult and two children's kayaks complete with vests and paddles, was an awesome way to end the days. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, and responds almost instantly to any issues.

Great Host, Eclectic Cabin

I messed up our reservation so showed up after 10:00pm on the day I thought I had booked, only to realize we were scheduled for the following day. I called Theresita and she worked everything out for us to check in that night. It saved us from getting off to a terrible start to our trip. the cabin itself is very cool and full of eclectic decor. the kids loved and it and it was very clean and comfortable.

ONE OF A KIND CABIN STAY!

Pictures did not do this cabin just! Not only did the cabin have everything you traditionally want during your stay (hot tubs, comfy beds, great kitchen etc), but all the little details throughout the place really were so unique and fun to enjoy. We loved having out in the living but also the basement games and movies were a big hit. The place was spotless, and I’ve got some picky people with me, but we were happy to find the place well cared for with everything we needed. The whole process was also super easy, working with the family managers was easy and very helpful during our interview stay. Cannot wait to come back in the summer again! Thank you!

Cabin Weekend

I stayed at this cabin with my husband and a group of our friends. We had a wonderful time and loved this cabin! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. It is uniquely decorated and includes lots of amenities. The hot tub and theatre room were both enjoyed by our group. The fire pit was very nice and eveything was provided to start a fire. The beds were very comfy and the main room had a large beautiful shower. The only downside was the access to the lake was unavailable due to storm damage. We were notified prior to our trip and was able to access the lake at a nearby marina so it was no big deal. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Property, Super Clean House

Such a fun property. We had a small family reunion with my husbands brother, wife and our kids (5 total between us ranging in ages 9-16). The lowest level was the perfect retreat for all the kids - theatre room, bunk room, pool table. The kids had a blast playing together. Fire pit was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day and firewood was provided. The house was incredibly clean. No dust or crumbs to be found - definitely the cleanest vacation rental I’ve stayed at. Rental company was very responsive - when we arrived we identified an evaporator coil leak on one of the AC compressors and they sent a repair person over immediately to get it recharged for our stay. Overall a wonderful vacation, great location, and responsive management.

Perfect mountain/lake getaway!

This was the perfect mountain and lake getaway! Two families 5 teenagers and the house size was just what we needed. The game room and hot tub was used every day by the teens and the outdoor swings are a great way to end your day. There was so much to enjoy just walking through the house looking at all the decorations. We had no issues parking 3 large vehicles. There is a non paved road that takes you to the boat dock, yes it’s on a hill but we expected that coming to the mountains. We utilized one of our trucks to Uber us from the dock to the house as needed. The dock is large enough for everyone to spread out and relax. We packed coolers for the day so there was no reason to go back up to the house till evening time. We did rent a boat for most the week and jet skis on a day. The dock set up was very easy to park everything. The was the most beautiful lake we had ever been too and it wasn’t busy! Most of the lake is not developed so if you’re looking for a quiet lake this is it! Also, if you’re looking for a house where the dock isn’t on the main channel so you can swim and float without boats going by, this was the perfect quiet spot! They do have kayaks already on the dock for you to use however, we brought two more kayaks, three blowup paddle boards and a bunch of floats. We made so many memories here!!

Above and Beyond Expectations

We really enjoyed this lodge. The property is secluded from neighbors on its own little hilltop. The outdoor fire pit area is great and large enough to stretch out and give a little space for the kids to burn off energy without running around inside. Being a spring trip the lake is still low but it’s a short walk down the hill to lake access and a private dock. The inside of the lodge is just as the pictures show and a little more. It is decorated with vintage signs and an abundance of wildlife. This creates a unique atmosphere and elevated experience over a traditional cabin… almost a resort feel. Each room has its own full bath. The kids bunk area was great with two bunk beds that allowed the kids to all be in one room together. The pool room and movie room were fantastic and setup for fun for kids and adults alike. The property manager is attentive and reached out to ensure everything was as expected and that we had no issues when we arrived. I felt that if we had anything out of sorts that they would have been taken care of immediately. It’s the small details that matter and this is a big one in creating a worry free vacation. Even the welcome package was unexpected and made everything that much more enjoyable. A great lodge and we’ll be back again.

I embarked on a much-needed getaway to a picturesque cabin nestled in the woods. The moment I arrived, I felt a wave of tranquility wash over me. The cabin stood in perfect harmony with its surroundings, surrounded by towering trees and the sweet scent of fresh earth. It looked exactly like the pictures I had seen on the VRBO site, which immediately set my mind at ease. The check-in process was seamless, allowing me to settle in quickly. As we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting space that exuded comfort. The interiors were clean and thoughtfully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. I couldn’t help but smile at how every corner of the cabin seemed to whisper “relax” to me. After unpacking, I took a moment to bask in the serenity of my surroundings. The cabin perched on a gentle hill, offering stunning views of the valley below. I spent my afternoons lounging on the balcony and couch, sipping my beverages, and listening to the sounds of nature. One of the highlights of my stay was the sense of seclusion. The hot tub, fire pit, and sauna were amazing. Not to mention, the teenagers indulge themselves in the private area "Kid zone" gaming room, theater room, and bunk room. We also had a wonderful time getting out to enjoy the surrounding area of Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg. Douglas Lake was phenomenal! Leaving this lovely was not easy. Although, I have a memorable gift from the host to remind me of my visit here. I'll be back.
