"Only stayed one night but was a good night, great location , very helpful reception staff, clean well maintained room, and the Spiced Apple Cider packets at the 24 hour coffee station was great hot drink addition. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Great base for getting out leaf peeping"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The property was immaculate, beautiful, and had everything we could have hoped for. Communication with our host was excellent from start to finish, which made the whole experience so easy. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the hot tub and sauna. They were wonderful and such a relaxing way to unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep each night of our stay. We also loved the large deck and fire pit. We were sad to leave and would absolutely love to come back and stay here again!"

"Where was this place when I had little kids!? Exactly as advertised… they did caution there were steep steps to climb down, but my 87 year old father took his time and did fine on them. Waking up to the loons in the morning and having coffee on the dock was so relaxing. We were in town for a wedding, but still managed to kayak and enjoy the cabin. If you have small kids and it’s raining, the boat house is the coolest clubhouse! The owner was very responsive when I had a question, the place was spotless, beds very comfortable! The third bedroom, aka boathouse, is maybe more geared for kids and teens,I can’t speak for those beds!"

"Overall a grand house and property and has more places to sleep than it seems in the pictures. There are additional mattresses throughout in closets. We were the first wedding to use the on site tent and storage items, although I was not aware I would be the first. I was talked out of my initial tent rental through an outside company as I had booked that before a permanent tent was added to the property. The tent on site is huge and there are plenty of tables and chairs supplied. There were definitely some kinks to be worked out as those specific offerings are new to them. We had to fix the lighting before use and the generator did not give off as much power as expected. The cost is high for a self-service experience, but as are most wedding venues. The place was mostly clean, but small items like glass doors and bathroom mirrors were noticeably dirty. Many stays appear to be same day change, as when we arrived at 4:00 the cleaners were still finishing up due to a late checkout. Cleaners were very kind, they just have a huge house to get through in a short time. The fire pit is a great area and the deck has a lot of good seating areas. Hot tub is huge. Kitchen is also huge - well stocked. A great place to stay if you have a large group. Floating dock and little fishing boat are a cool addition. Sound system in the house is another cool factor, appeared to have a camera aimed at it. A lot of responsibility on the guest to stay at such a large property."
