Dockside Cottage

no swimming or motorized boats in the lake. We allow dogs. A $100 pet fee must be paid before arriving at the location. each home has a ring door bell camera, if you bring a pet without paying the fee it will increase to $250. Thank you for understanding!

Talk about beauty! This Southern Cottage sits on a double lot on Lake Kathy and is located just 30 mins south of Chattanooga off I-75. Super Easy to find.

*no swimming or motorized boats in the lake.
This gorgeous cottage was just completely gutted and remodeled in October 2023 with gorgeous quartz countertops, custom tiled shower, new paint, shiplap wall and new split unit AC system.

The water pressure issue and some of the past reviews has been fixed! All new plumbing throughout.

This home is just around 600 sq ft and has 1 bed/1 bath, full kitchen and nice living room with LED TV and huge stone gas fireplace.

The view from either inside or outside of the cottage is beautiful. It overlooks Lake Kathy and is PERFECT for a couples get away. Lake Kathy is not a fresh water lake it is a huge pond.

There is 1 queen sized bed and a love seat and couch. They do not pull out into an actual bed.

This is a NON SMOKING (INSIDE)

Listen to the birds and the geese sing while you sit on your rocking chair back porch! Want to fish? Literally open the door and walk straight out to your dock on the water without your feet ever touching grass!

Its time to relax and get back to nature. Rest, Rejuvenate and Relax!

The smell of the pine trees and quite peaceful days are calling!

*This is a personally owned home and is not part of a cottage community for rentals. There are houses all around however this home has a fence blocking next door and a large open lot on one side. This is a well established older neighborhood surrounded by good old country folk who are super kind!

This cottage was just the right size for a couple. Very clean. Nicely updated inside. Plenty of linen. Loved sitting on the porch and just relaxing without noise- except the geese!. Might consider adding a few items to the kitchen like a baking sheet and a few serving bowls. Would definitely stay again.

Nice cabin

What a nice cabin. I felt like I was in On Golden Pond movie. I was so relaxed there watching the geese and ducks. The inside of the cabin was well stocked and nicely decorated. The neighborhood houses around it were run down somewhat but it looks like somebody was fixing up many of the properties. I did feel safe at the cabin and taking a walk. We’ll be back.

Perfect Getaway

We spent 4 nights here and it was amazing. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We went to Ft. Mountain state park to see the mountains and also drove to Chattanooga one day. We caught a few fish, too. The cottage is very private and we didn't see any of the neighbors. I would certainly stay here again. I suggest bug spray if you're on the dock at night.Thats not a property problem, that's the nature of being near water. Awesome trip!!!

My husband and I came here for a little babymoon before baby #4 arrives and this cottage was just perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The cabin was clean and had nice updates. It had pretty much everything we were looking for in our stay. I will say we had trouble with directions at first because the street sign is small and the neighborhood doesn’t match the same ambiance as the cabin. But we had no problems at all after we arrived! We got such a kick out of the geese:) Loved it! Will return.

What a wonderful little find! My husband and I had an amazing get away! This oasis is clean comfy and coooozy! We LOVED the setting and lake! We will definitely be back!!! Cassie the housekeeper and now a sweet friend was the BEST! She was sooo attentive to anything we needed… not to mention… a playlist of love songs playing on the tv when we arrived that her daughter helped pick out! GREAT little oasis! Looking for another weekend to go back now! Thank you guys for making it sooooo special!!!
