The Ellsworth House @ Greenville

  • This Oasis in the heart of Dallas is close to everything! Walk to Greenville Ave to see a show @ The Granada, enjoy the restaurants & nightlife. Walk to Mockingbird Station to see a movie or catch the DART anywhere in Dallas (events at AAC, the Texas State Fair, or even to the airport). Walk to SMU. Go to Glencoe Park at the end of the block where you can access the Katy Trail for some exercise & people watching. Or just stay home and enjoy the pool and the peaceful neighborhood!

    We offer some great amenities while you enjoy your stay. We have cool relaxing pool & spa to soak and relax in after a long day! Note* The pool & hot tub can be heated at an additional cost, upon request. There is also a fire pit that is available for use. There is an outside Television that can be used to stream any of your favorite shows.

    You will be provided a door code for the smart lock on the front door the morning of check-in.

    "M" Streets/Greenville Ave/SMU area. You can walk everywhere along the tree-lined streets. Easy access to the best trail (Katy Trail) for walking/biking. Plenty of restaurants and shops as well as grocery stores nearby.

    Easy to get around and close to Central Expressway (75), so going places is simple. You can also get a ride-share or take the DART (light rail) to many locations. Parking is provided with enough driveway for 2-3 cars, as well as street parking.

    We do have Oleander's through out the property. These can be quite toxic for pets if they get into them.

Clean, comfortable and well stocked! Has a beautiful pool and backyard space. Located in a nice neighborhood. Make sure to prearrange hot tub times if you want them for convenience. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall great stay!

This property is super cute and would be a great choice for a friend group or family! Check in process was super easy and the hosts sent us lots of great information about places to eat nearby. Wish there would’ve been a little more clear info on the fact that you have to pay extra to use the hot tub, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Great pool and backyard for staycation!

We rented this house for a staycation to swim and grill. The backyard is great and love that it has a TV and covered patio as well. We really enjoyed this house!

Thanksgiving Week in Dallas

We enjoyed the location of the home. It is a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to SMU, North Park Mall and many great restaurants. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen is darling. Great Amenities for this home away from home!

Great location and great outdoor amenities

Easy walk to Greenville, great pool and spa for this sized house and lot, cute as a button older home, only wish would be just a little bigger barroom but that’s not typical for this period of house and it’s updated to take the most advantage of the space. 5 stars due to quality price ratio, 4 stars if you need a larger bathroom.

Perfect Trip! Amazing Host!

We had the absolute BEST stay! Already planning our next trip down. The house was spotless and in the most perfect location. Walking distance to parks and restaurants and easy highway access! One of the best stocked homes and kitchens - we cooked almost every meal. And the natural light that comes in is gorgeous! The host was probably the best we’ve ever had. HIGHLY recommend!

Winter Break

Very nice home in a great community just outside of Dallas. Traveled with family, 5 people in total and we were very comfortable. In between multiple college visits to SMU, UT, BU and TCU, my 3 boys enjoyed relaxing in pool and hot tub and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. This was a great winter break getaway from the snowy/cold NYC and we are looking forward to our next Texas visit.

Loved the outdoor space

Cute little house. Well maintained and clean. Very nice, quiet, walkable neighborhood. Small bathroom, but nice big shower. Big master bedroom. Nice little extras, like chargers for phones, etc. Loved the outdoor space. We were able to take advantage of the pool, fire pit, and outdoor TV. Would recommend a stay there, and we would return.

Lovely home with amazing amenities

This home is amazing. They thought of everything you could possibly need during a stay and then exceed your expectations. The house is clean and well organized. The back yard and patio are well kept and the pool is crystal clean and so relaxing. Communication with the owners was so easy and they responded to all my questions within minutes. One of our best stays at a VRBO!

We had a lovely stay at the Ellsworth house. The house had so many little considerations that made it special and nice for a family visit. It fit the four of us well, and the pool, hot tub and outdoor area, including the firepit were all in excellent condition and made our time together extra special to enjoy the weather and hang out together. We were visiting our son who is living in downtown Dallas and he was happy to get away from the city noise while still being in an area where we could walk to restaurants and shops. There are automated blinds, ceiling fans and more that work with remotes that are handy dandy as well. The owners were communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
